LOST VEGAS: TIM BURTON @ THE NEON MUSEUM, PRESENTED BY THE ENGELSTAD FOUNDATION, NOW OPEN

The Neon Museum announces tickets are now on sale for  “Lost Vegas: Tim Burton @ The Neon Museum Presented by the Engelstad Foundation,” which will be on view Oct. 15 through Feb. 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Tickets will be priced at $30 for general admission to the Neon Boneyard and $24 for admission to the nighttime, projection-mapping spectacle “Brilliant!” No paired tickets or discounts will be offered for the duration of the exhibition. Tickets may be purchased at neonmuseum.org.

THE MOB MUSEUM TO HOLD OCTOBER COMMUNITY SAFETY FORUM ON SEXUAL ASSAULT PREVENTION ON SUNDAY, OCT. 20

The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces the October Community Safety Forum, sponsored by NV Energy. This month, the museum will host the forum on Sexual Assault Prevention. This program will build knowledge and skills to help prevent sexual assault and offer self-defense tips. The forum will be offered first in English and then in Spanish.

HOUSE-DISTILLED MOONSHINE FROM THE UNDERGROUND AT THE MOB MUSEUM TO BE AVAILABLE AT NEVADA STORES, RESTAURANTS

For the first time, The Underground at The Mob Museum will make its house-distilled, corn-mash original Moonshine available for off-premise sales in Nevada in collaboration with distributor Johnson Brothers. Lee’s Liquor is eager to carry the moonshine in both 750-mL and 50-mL quantities at all 19 of its stores beginning Friday, Oct. 18.

Fresh from Burning Man, Fired Up Management, the company specializing in bringing BIG ART to festivals, open-air galleries and corporate events, has partnered with artist Michael Benisty to bring his 25-foot-tall “Broken, but Together” sculpture to Insomniac’s Secret Project festival in downtown Los Angeles, Oct. 12 – 13.  Insomniac’s Secret Project Festival encompasses a world of art, culture and the sounds of the underground and features everything from immersive, glowing environments to large-scale murals and live graffiti.

The Underground, the Prohibition history exhibition at The Mob Museum featuring a fully operational distillery and speakeasy, now offers “A Whiskey Tasting You Can’t Refuse.” Guests will experience an ultra-exclusive whiskey tasting, handcrafted cocktails and appetizers inside the VIP room at The Underground speakeasy.
