THE PUNK ROCK MUSEUM ANNOUNCES AUGUST HAPPENINGS

LAS VEGAS (August 2023) – The Punk Rock Museum announces its roster of happenings in August, including Elder Emo Night, weekly trivia inside the Triple Down and more. The full roster of events follows:

Jessie Lee Presents Elder Emo Night
Date: Saturday, Aug. 12
Time: 10 p.m.
Location: Triple Down.
Cost: Admission is complimentary. Guests must be 21 or older and have a valid I.D. to enter.
Details: Jessie Lee presents Elder Emo Night at The Punk Rock Museum. With special guests Monica Green and Max Green of Violent New Breed and Escape the Fate, guests can look forward to the ultimate emo party with singalongs and booze inside the Triple Down, with fare from Vitos Tacos available for purchase.

August Punk Rock Tour Guides
Dates and Times:

  • Shane Told of Silverstien: August 4 – 6 at 12:30 and 4 p.m.
  • Max and Monica Green of Escape the Fate: August 12 at 6 p.m.
  • Nathen Maxwell of Flogging Molly: August 11 – 13 at 12:30 and 4 p.m.
  • CJ Ramone of The Ramones and Me First and The Gimme Gimmes: August 17 – 20 at 12:30 and 4 p.m.
  • Smelly of NOFX: August 22 – 27 at 12:30 and 4 p.m.

Location: Throughout The Punk Rock Museum.
Cost: Guided tours are $100 per person and can be purchased here.
Description: The Punk Rock Museum offers guided tours directly from the legends of punk rock. Visitors can look forward to listening to stories no one else has heard from the people who lived them.

“Rock the Quizbah” Trivia Nights
Dates: Every Thursday.
Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Triple Down.
Cost: Admission is complimentary. Guests must be 21 or older and have a valid I.D. to enter.
Description: Guests are invited to “Rock the Quizbah,” the museum’s brand-new weekly trivia night. Hosted by brand ambassador, Jessie Lee and museum co-founder Mike “Fat Mike” Burkett, guests 21 and older can enjoy music and general trivia inside the museum’s Triple Down bar. Trivia nights will also include prizes and tempting bites from local food trucks.

Live Vinyl Sets During the First Friday of Each Month
Dates: First Friday of each month. August’s event will take place on Friday, Aug. 4.
Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Triple Down.
Cost: Admission is complimentary. Guests must be 21 or older and have a valid I.D. to enter.
Details: On the first Friday of every month, DJs JR. SKA BOSS and SELECTA SCREAM will be spinning vinyl. Guests can enjoy ska, reggae, Oi!, two-tone, punk and other jams.

Sound System Vinyl and Tee Vee
Dates: Second and Fourth Wednesday of each month. August’s events will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 9 and 23.
Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Triple Down.
Cost: Admission is complimentary. Guests must be 21 or older and have a valid I.D. to enter.
Description: On the second Wednesday of each month, guests are invited to join Sound System Vinyl as they play the best of punk. On the fourth Wednesday of each month, Sound System Tee Vee will play visitors’ favorite punk music videos.

Daily Happy Hour at the Triple Down
Dates: Daily.
Time: 7 to 9 p.m.
Location: Triple Down.
Cost: All drinks are available for $5 each.
Description: Guests are invited to enjoy $5 drinks at the Triple Down bar every day between 7 and 9 p.m. Libations include the bar’s signature “Fletcher” drink — a rum and coke served in a Pringle’s can named after Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge. Other favorites include The Double Fatty made with a double shot of Tito’s Vodka mixed with Liquid Death Severed Lime, served with a shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey on the side and The Gut Punch, a delicious mashup of fruit juices spiked with rum, Everclear, blue curacao, Peach Schnapps and sweet vermouth.
