LAS VEGAS (January 2026) – Travelers passing through Las Vegas’ Harry Reid International Airport can now get a taste of The Mob Museum experience before they ever leave the terminal. This winter, The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, will debut its first-ever airport retail store, offering visitors a preview of the Museum’s powerful storytelling, iconic artifacts and curated merchandise.
Developed in partnership with the Day One Group and located in the D Gates, the store brings the Museum’s distinctive voice and mission to one of the world’s busiest travel hubs, which welcomed over 58 million passengers in 2024. The Mob Museum itself draws more than 400,000 visitors annually to its downtown Las Vegas location, captivating audiences with immersive exhibits and compelling narratives on organized crime and law enforcement. This retail space serves as an introduction to Las Vegas’ storied past and the fascinating history that defines The Mob Museum.
Capturing travelers’ attention as soon as they arrive at the D Gate, for a limited time, The Mob Museum will display a 1972 Signal Red Jaguar XKE at the concourse entrance. The vehicle, once owned by Gambino crime family boss John Gotti, was a gift from veteran Caporegime Gregory DePalma. According to former FBI undercover agent Joaquin “Jack” Garcia, who DePalma had unknowingly buddied up to during an FBI investigation in the early 2000s, DePalma had given the Jaguar to Gotti to gain favor with “the Dapper Don.” Gotti later gave the car to his wife, Victoria, for their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. Its presence in the concourse will provide travelers with an initial look at organized crime’s international relationships and role in pop culture, something they can explore further through the retail store’s experience.
While browsing destination-inspired souvenirs like branded apparel, mugs, books and magnets, guests will get a preview of The Mob Museum’s signature storytelling and unique perspective on organized crime’s past and present. Visitors will enjoy a look at the Museum’s exhibits through artifact displays featuring objects from both sides of the law, including from the LAPD’s Gangster Squad, Mob-era Las Vegas and the infamous St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. Visitors will also immerse themselves in “the life” by taking the oath of a “made” man and snapping their own mugshot in a police lineup.
“This store provides an introductory touchpoint, offering a glimpse into the stories and artifacts that await downtown,” said Jonathan Ullman, CEO & President, The Mob Museum. “We hope this space sparks curiosity, invites exploration and offers something memorable for every traveler passing through. For many, it will be the first taste of a larger journey.”
The new space reflects the Museum’s ongoing mission to educate and inspire, now beginning right at the gateway to Las Vegas.
“The Day One Group is proud to partner with The Mob Museum to launch a new retail store at Harry Reid International Airport,” said Brian Ayala, Principal, Day One Group. “This collaboration brings a piece of Las Vegas history and culture directly to travelers, delivering a distinctive retail experience that celebrates the city’s iconic past while welcoming visitors from around the world.”
“Our airport plays a unique role in connecting millions of travelers to the spirit of Las Vegas and the entire destination,” said James C. Chrisley, Clark County Director of Aviation. “By bringing The Mob Museum to Harry Reid International Airport, we’re sharing a rich part of our community’s history and identity with visitors from the very start of their journey.”
The store is open for guests from 5 a.m.-9 p.m. seven days a week. For more information on The Mob Museum, visit themobmuseum.org.
