THE MOB MUSEUM ADDS THREE NEW ACCOLADES TO THEIR LIST OF AWARDS

LAS VEGAS (June 2021)The Mob Museum, The National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, recently added three new accolades to their list of awards. Among these accolades is designation among the five Best History Museums for the USA Today 2021 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards highlighting the best of the best in contests covering categories such as destinations, food and drink, hotels and things to do.

The Mob Museum was also selected as a 2021 Award of Excellence winner by the American Association for State and Local History’s (AASLH) Leadership in History Awards Committee for the public programming project, The Future of Policing. The program explored the consequences of historic injustices, addressed the nationwide calls to reshape American policing and considered what can be done to serve all members of society more equally.

Lastly, the Museum was also appointed as one of the top places to work in Nevada for the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Top Workplaces 2021. In addition to The Mob Museum, Station Casinos, Cure 4 The Kids Foundation, Wynn Las Vegas and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices have also been named.

The top five winners in the category Best History Museum are as follows:

  1. National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center – Columbus, Georgia
  2. National Underground Railroad Freedom Center – Cincinnati, Ohio
  3. National Museum of the Marine Corps – Triangle, Virginia
  4. The Mob Museum – Las Vegas
  5. USS Constitution Museum – Boston
