LAS VEGAS (September 2022) – SAHARA Las Vegas announces its roster of events and promotions for October, which includes exclusive hotel, dining, beverage, entertainment and casino promotions throughout the month to commemorate its historic 70th anniversary milestone, which occurs on Friday, Oct. 7. Additionally, guests are invited to enjoy fall specials at Amina Spa, featured seasonal dishes and more. Meanwhile, the community is also invited to join SAHARA Las Vegas in celebrating diversity at this year’s Las Vegas Pride Night Parade and Las Vegas Pride Festival.

NATIONAL TACO DAY AT UNO MÁS
On Tuesday, Oct. 4, visitors are invited to celebrate National Taco Day at Uno Más Street Tacos + Spirits. Guests will receive one complimentary potato taco with the purchase of any specialty cocktail.
LAS VEGAS PRIDE NIGHT PARADE
On Friday, Oct. 7, SAHARA Las Vegas team members will participate in the annual Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade in Downtown Las Vegas where they will hand out branded swag along the parade route starting on the corner of 4th Street and Bridger Avenue. The parade will feature a block party, including beverage stations, food trucks and event exhibitors. The evening’s pre-show will begin at 6 p.m. and the parade will begin at 7 p.m.
LAS VEGAS PRIDE FESTIVAL
On Saturday, Oct. 8, SAHARA Las Vegas invites the community to join it in celebrating diversity at this year’s Las Vegas Pride Festival at Craig Ranch Regional Park from noon to 11 p.m. SAHARA Las Vegas team members will host a festival booth where attendees can learn more about SAHARA Insider, a brand-new hotel and casino loyalty program. Those who enroll will also have the chance to spin to win prizes and new SAHARA Insider loyalty members will also be entered into a drawing for a complimentary stay at SAHARA Las Vegas. In addition, representatives from SAHARA’s human resources department will be onsite to provide the community with employment opportunities and details. Cast members from MAGIC MIKE LIVE will also host a booth featuring a 360-degree camera providing community members with unique photo ops and meet-and-greet opportunities.
BALLA ITALIAN SOUL
Balla Italian Soul will open to the public in October. The brand-new Italian concept by James Beard Award winner Shawn McClain and partners Richard and Sarah Camarota will offer a seasonal menu featuring fresh and vibrant plates. Balla Italian Soul will offer dinner every Wednesday through Sunday from 5 to 10 p.m. For more information, click here.
BRAND-NEW WEEKEND LUNCH HOURS AT THE NOODLE DEN
Starting on Saturday, Oct. 8, The Noodle Den will open for lunch every Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Highlights from the lunch menu include chef’s specials such as Mongolian Beef, Crispy Orange Beef, Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Shrimp and more. Rice, noodle and soup specials include Yang Zhou Fried Rice, Black Pepper Beef Fried Rice, Spicy Minced Chicken Fried Rice and more. To view the full lunch menu, click here.
PRIDE POOL PARTY AT RETRO POOL LOUNGE
On Sunday, Oct. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., SAHARA Las Vegas invites the community to its celebratory Pride Pool Party inside the open-air, rooftop Retro Pool Lounge. The event will feature a live DJ and Go-Go dancers on elevated platforms to entertain guests. Additionally, SAHARA will offer The Banana Hammock, a glittery cocktail made Malibu Coconut Rum, Banana Liqueur, Kumquat Syrup and Electric Dust. Entry is free. Available from Saturday, Oct. 1 through Monday, Oct. 31, Chickie’s and Pete’s will offer the Oktoberfest Burger as its burger of the month. SAHARA Rare Character Whiskey
SAHARA Las Vegas announces a special 70th anniversary edition of its exclusive whiskey label partnership series with Rare Character Whiskey Co. In recognition of the original SAHARA’s opening year in 1952, this limited-time batch is 52 percent alcohol by volume. Made with high-rye bourbon, the whiskey is aged for five years and five months in American oak barrels. Then, the whiskey is rested for an additional six months in special barrels utilized to create fortified wine on Madeira Island just off the coast of Africa’s northern shore adjacent to the Sahara Desert. Guests can enjoy this limited-edition whiskey at Chickie’s & Pete’s Crabhouse and Sports Bar, CASBAR Lounge and The Tangier while supplies last. Every Monday through Thursday from Monday, Oct. 3 through Monday, Oct. 31, Infinity Rewards members may earn one 70-year anniversary coin by earning either 500 base slot points or 500 tier credits on table games during the promotion. A maximum of one 70-year anniversary coin may be earned per Infinity Rewards account during the promotional period while supplies last. Once qualified play has been earned, Infinity Rewards members must swipe at the Infinity Rewards kiosk for a voucher.
