LAS VEGAS (April 2024) – JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa and Rampart Casino, the lushly landscaped, 54-acre Summerlin destination for exciting gaming, tempting dining, elegant accommodations and a luxurious spa, announce exciting May casino promotions* as well as live entertainment and exclusive dining offers for players.
SPECIAL EVENTS IN MAY
Complimentary Kentucky Derby Betting Seminar, May 3
Rampart Casino invites guests to its annual Kentucky Derby betting seminar on Friday, May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. in its Cascade Lounge. Attendees are invited to learn the ins and outs of horse race betting ahead of the 150th anniversary of the world’s most legendary racetrack. Veteran professional race handicapper Bob Ike, Rampart Casino race and sports manager Duane Colucci and former Daily Racing Forum national correspondent Jay Privman will lead this eye-opening educational seminar. Additionally, guests will be treated to complimentary non-alcoholic beverages.
Admission is complimentary but guests must be 21 years or older to attend. Space is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. For guests who cannot attend the event in person, Rampart Casino will also broadcast the seminar on its YouTube channel.
MAY CASINO PROMOTIONS
$50,000 Golden Ticket Drawings
Guests are invited to join Rampart Casino at 6:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in May for the chance to win. Players earn one entry for every 100 points on slots or bingo or for every hour of play with a $10 average bet on table games. Guests can enjoy 10x entries Sunday through Thursday. Selected from a drum, there will be 32 winners each weekend and eight winners each drawing. Players can start earning entries on Saturday, April 27 at 8:15 p.m. Must be present to win.
$40,000 Fiesta of Cash Drawings
Players can celebrate with Rampart Casino’s $40,000 Fiesta of Cash promotion taking place on Fridays and Saturdays in May at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Guests can earn entries with one hour at tables with a $10 average bet equaling one entry or 2x entries from Sunday through Thursday. With five winners at each drawing and the chance to win up to $2,500, excitement awaits. Drawings include picking an envelope and entries are reset weekly after the 10 p.m. drawing. Players can earn on Saturday, April 27 at 10 p.m. Must be present to win.
$40,000 Run for the Roses Drawings
Every Wednesday from Wednesday, May 1 through Wednesday, May 22 at 8:15 p.m. players can participate in Rampart Casino’s $40,000 Run for the Roses promotion. Players earn one entry for every 100 points on slots or bingo or for every hour of play with a $10 average bet on table games. Guests can win up to $5,000 cash each Wednesday throughout the promotional period. Entries are dumped each week and players must be present to win. Guests can start earning entries on Wednesday, April 24 at 3:01 a.m.
$1,000 Casino-Wide Derby Hat Contest
In honor of the Kentucky Derby, 20 total winners will receive $50 in free slot play. Players can check in at the casino valet between 1 and 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, and the contest winners will be announced in the casino after the derby.
Floor Wide 10x/5x
On Wednesday, May 29, all players who play slots with their Player’s Card inserted will earn 10x points on reels and video reels and 5x points on video poker.
Pirate’s Treasure Progressive Drawing
The May progressive drawing will take place on Wednesday, May 29 at 6:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. Players must earn 2,000 points in April to qualify.
Table Games Hot Seat Drawings
Every Thursday from 2 to 8 p.m. in the Rampart Casino pit. One winner will be called each hour to receive $200 in promo chips.
Ramparty Bonus
Play more than 400 must-win progressive games in the casino and win up to $2,024 in free slot play. All other carded players registered at time of win also earn $24 when the progressive hits.

Cinco de Mayo
On Sunday, May 5, bingo on B-5 and receive $1,000; any number ending in 5 will receive $250. Validation required.
Bingo 10th Anniversary
On Saturday, May 11, all sessions will include 4x $1,000 coveralls. Additionally, all casino bars and the race and sportsbook will offer $5 derby drink specials, including mint juleps, the Kentucky Oaks Lily cocktail and Louisiana lemonades.
Two-for-One Lunch and Dinner at Market Place Buffet, May 27
On Monday, May 27, players earning 50 same-day points will receive two-for-one entry to the Market Place Buffet. Regularly priced at $31.99 per person, the buffet is served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 8 p.m.
