MAY HAPPENINGS AT THE LINQ PROMENADE

MAY HAPPENINGS AT THE LINQ PROMENADE

LAS VEGAS (May 2022) – The LINQ Promenade, the entertainment, retail and dining district located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, announces May happenings, including Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day and more.

PARKING UPDATES:

The surface parking lot located off LINQ Lane, which provides direct access to the LINQ Promenade, will be closed through May 11. Guests are encouraged to use the self-park garages located at The LINQ Hotel + Experience or Harrah’s Las Vegas. Additionally, valet parking is available at Flamingo Las Vegas, High Roller Observation Wheel and Harrah’s Las Vegas. For more information on parking, please visit www.caesars.com/parking.

CINCO DE MAYO:

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar

Visitors are invited to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with unforgettable food and beverage offerings at Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar on May 5. Guests 21 years or older can enjoy complimentary tequila samples throughout the day sponsored by Mi Campo Tequila. Chayo’s taco cart will also serve up Las Vegas’s most tempting tacos on the patio all day long. Guests can also enjoy a live Mariachi band from 7 to 8 p.m. as well as a performance from DJ Just Joey to end the evening.

Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

In celebration of Cinco de Mayo on May 5, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery invites guests to enjoy $10 El Jimador margaritas as well as $9 Dos Equis and Modelo beers all day.

Off The Strip Bistro + Bar

Guests are invited to savor Off The Strip Bistro + Bar’s street-style tacos and mouthwatering cinnamon churros all day in celebration of Cinco de Mayo on May 5.

MOTHER’S DAY

Brooklyn Bowl

Brooklyn Bowl invites families to treat mom to a special Mother’s Day brunch featuring its classic menu by Blue Ribbon. Following food and drinks, visitors are invited to “The Music of The Beatles for Kids & More” presented by The Rock and Roll Playhouse on Sunday, May 8 at 11 a.m. This all ages event is ideal for families gathering to celebrate Mother’s Day in a festive setting. The event includes games, movement, stories and opportunities for kids to rock out and explore their creativity. Tickets are available for $15 and children under one are free. Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar will offer mothers a complimentary glass of sparkling wine with the purchase of an entrée on Mother’s Day. 

Nectar Bath Treats

Nectar Bath Treats is now offering brand-new gift sets for Mother’s Day, including fruit smoothie and lavender blossom scents. The Unconditional Mom Gift Set is available for $159 and includes a milkshake bath soak, sugar body scrub, shea body butter, whipped soap, jumbo macaron soap treat sampler, coconut wax candle, four limited-edition fruit bath bombs and a large pink ice cream cone exfoliating sponge. Other Mother’s Day gift sets are also available with prices ranging from $49 to $89. Nectar Bath Treats is also offering individual heart-shaped bath bombs in both scents for $9 each.

Honolulu Cookie Company

Inspired by the tropical flowers of Hawaii, Honolulu Cookie Company is offering its 2022 Floral Collection in celebration of Mother’s Day with popular tropical flavors such as guava, mango and pineapple. The Mother’s Day Floral Tin includes between four and 18 cookie variety packs. Available exclusively online are the Mother’s Day Gift Tower, including the Floral Tin Small, Floral Window Box Tropical Collection and Floral Box Large wrapped with a beautiful Mother’s Day ribbon.

SPRING:

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar

In addition to its Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day offerings, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar will offer other tempting libations this May. On Monday, May 16, the restaurant will celebrate National Mimosa Day with bottomless mimosas available for $25 per person from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Whiskey fans can also enjoy Sierra Norte Mexican Whiskey 50 percent off on Saturday, May 21 in celebration of World Whiskey Day.

Favorite Bistro

Offering French cuisine with American flair, Favorite Bistro is a foodie paradise. Throughout May, the restaurant will offer an array of mouthwatering food and beverage specials. On National Shrimp Day happening Tuesday, May 10, guests are invited to savor the shrimp scampi linguine made with roasted cherry tomatoes, white wine and garlic tossed in a parsley sauce for $27.95. Favorite Bistro will celebrate National Mimosa Day with $30 mimosa pitchers on Monday, May 16. Featuring a scenic outdoor patio, guests are invited to enjoy the perfect outdoor weather and $5 glasses of wine during happy hour from 2 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 in celebration of National Wine Day. On Saturday, May 28, Favorite Bistro will celebrate National Hamburger Day with its Hangover Burger, including a half pound black angus patty, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, bacon, an egg and fries for $19.95.

Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop

Ghirardelli Ice Cream and Chocolate Shop is the destination on the Las Vegas Strip for National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day on May 15. The venue offers a tempting assortment of chocolate chip cookies plus the Cookie Crumble Hot Fudge Sundae made with vanilla ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, handmade hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate chip cookie crumbles and two Milk Chocolate Caramel Minis. 

Goorin Bros. Hat Shop

The premium American designed and made headwear store on The LINQ Promenade just added brand-new Panama straw hats to their collection, including the Montecarlo, Chimichurri, Saint Charles and Bread & Butter. Each fedora hat is made from 100 percent Toquilla straw, providing a UPF-50 rating as well as a 98 percent UV radiation block. All hats are made in the U.S. and are available for $180 each.

Minus5º ICEBAR

Guests of all ages are invited to cool off and enjoy family fun this spring inside Minus5º ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade. Guests are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt in search of seven secrets hidden among 90 tons of ice. Upon arrival, guests are given a clue sheet offering hits about where to find the seven secrets. Once completed, visitors can check with their bartender to see if they successfully completed the scavenger hunt.

Minus5º ICEBAR also announces its made-from-scratch, exotically flavored sorbet collection, along with a tasting game. Guests can purchase a flight of four chef-inspired sorbets and if they guess all four flavors correctly, they will receive the chance to spin a wheel and win prizes.

Socks & Bottoms

Just in time for hockey playoffs, Socks & Bottoms is offering a sports sock special of two pairs for $33. The fun and trendy retail store is also offering a new line of novelty underwear starting at $25 per item.

Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery

In addition to its Cinco de Mayo specials, Tilted Kilt will also offer an array of promotions and events in May. On Saturday, May 7, beginning at 4 p.m., Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery invites visitors to watch UFC 274 featuring Charles Oliveira versus Justin Gaethje. In honor of Memorial Day on Monday, May 30, Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery will offer all active military and veterans with a valid I.D. 20 percent off their entire bill.

Virgil’s Real BBQ

May is National BBQ Month. To celebrate, Virgil’s Real BBQ will offer a one-of-a-kind BBQ sampler and a hand-selected whiskey and bourbon tasting for $59. The special includes Memphis-style spareribs, Texas beef brisket, Carolina pulled pork, BBQ wings, Trash Ribs and cornbread paired with a selection of three whiskeys and bourbons from George Dickel, Knob Creek and Woodford Reserve Rye.

High Roller Observation Wheel

The Wheel lighting schedule for May follows:

May 5 – Cinco de Mayo, the wheel will be lit with red, white and green.

May 30 – Memorial Day, the wheel will be lit with red, white and blue.

High Roller, the tallest observation wheel in North America, will open daily from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m.

Fly LINQ

FLY LINQ, the only zipline in the world to offer riders the ability to fly simultaneously on 10 side-by-side lines, is open Thursday through Monday, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Eiffel Tower

Eiffel Tower viewing deck is open Thursday through Monday, from 3 p.m. through 10 p.m.
