LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (April 2022) – Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) announces its exclusive Houseboat Hotel offer from April 15 to May 15. Featuring special pricing, guests can enjoy up to 10 nights docked at the marina inside Cottonwood Cove aboard LMMA’s 50-foot houseboat model. The offer is ideal for visitors enjoying spring break or the NFL draft.

“For visitors who have never been on a houseboat before, the Houseboat Hotel experience is ideal for guests who want to enjoy the perks of being on a houseboat without the stress of piloting one,” said Chad Taylor, director of sales and marketing, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures. “The houseboats can remain docked at the marina the entire time so first-time guests can kick back and relax on the lake while hanging out with friends and family.”

Available for $600 per night, the houseboat model can accommodate up to six guests and includes two bedrooms and one bath. In addition, the houseboat features a fully equipped kitchen, bed linens, TV and DVD player, canopied top deck and gas barbecue grill. Guests are also encouraged to bring their own sleeping bags if they’re interested in sleeping on the houseboat’s rooftop deck. Upon arrival, visitors can check in from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and immediately board their houseboat. Guests can also enjoy a later checkout time of 4 p.m. on the final evening of their stay.

The rental also includes a complimentary half-day deck boat rental available from 8 a.m. to noon. For an additional fee of $250, guests can also extend their deck boat rental from noon to 4 p.m.
