JUNE HAPPENINGS AT THE LINQ PROMENADE 

LAS VEGAS (May 2022) – The LINQ Promenade, the entertainment, retail and dining district located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, announces June happenings, including Father’s Day specials, Restaurant Week, National Cheese Day offers and more.

NATIONAL CHEESE DAY
Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar
Visitors are invited to celebrate National Cheese Day with unforgettable food offerings at Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar on Saturday, June 4. The Mexican Cheese Platter features Oaxaca cheese, Panela cheese, Chihuahua cheese, cilantro pesto and dried fig. 

Virgil’s Real Barbecue
In celebration of National Cheese Day on Saturday, June 4, the Virgil’s Mac and Cheese offers a perfectly cheesy dish with a bit of crunch on top. The dish features macaroni tossed with sharp cheddar, mustard, cream and a dash of hot sauce, sprinkled with saltine crackers, corn flakes and Ruffles potato chips. The Virgil’s Texas Beef Brisket Melt is a grilled masterpiece featuring sliced Texas beef brisket, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, barbecue sauce and rye bread served with homemade sides. 

LAS VEGAS RESTAURANT WEEK
The LINQ Promenade invites guests to dine out for a cause at three of its eateries during Las Vegas Restaurant Week from Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 17. A portion of the proceeds from Restaurant Week menus will benefit Three Square Food Bank to feed the hungry in the Las Vegas community. 

Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar
Visitors are invited to savor Chayo’s Las Vegas Restaurant Week dinner menu for $50 per person. The full menu includes: 

  • Aguachile Shrimp Ceviche – Shrimp, fresh lime juice, cucumber, mango, red onions, jalapeño and cilantro
  • Red Snapper Veracruz – Tomatoes, garlic, onions, capers, white wine, olives, herbs and red rice
  • Vanilla Bread Pudding – Fresh berries, chocolate and vanilla ice cream

Favorite Bistro
For $40 per person, guests can taste Favorite Bistro’s unique dinner menu in honor of Las Vegas Restaurant Week. The full menu includes:
Salad or soup (choose one)

  • Caesar Salad – Parmesan, croutons and classic dressing
  • Classic French Onion Soup – Gruyere and crostini
  • Strawberry and Ricotta Salad – Baby spinach and raspberry vinaigrette 

Entrée (choose one)

  • Le Petit New York – Served with fries
  • Chicken Alfredo Linguine – Garlic, white wine and parmesan cream
  • Le Fish and Chips – Served with tartar sauce and coleslaw
  • Classic Cheeseburger – Half pound black angus patty, lettuce, tomato, American cheese and fries

Dessert (choose one)

  • Caramel Pudding
  • Favorite Cheesecake 

Virgil’s Real Barbecue
Barbecue fans are invited to try Virgil’s Las Vegas Restaurant Week menu available for $30 per person during lunch and $40 per person during dinner. The full menu includes:

Appetizer (choose one)

  • Fresh Cut Potato Chips – Creole seasoning and smoked sea salt
  • Fried Sweet Pickles – Remoulade dipping sauce
  • Trainwreck Fries – Melted cheddar jack cheese, applewood smoked bacon, jalapeños, ranch dressing and scallions

Entrée (choose one)

  • Memphis-Style Pork Spare Ribs – Dry rubbed and hickory smoked
  • BBQ Pulled Chicken – Slow smoked and pulled chicken thighs finished with a touch of dry rub and vinegar barbecue sauce
  • Carolina Pulled Pork – Seasoned pork butts slow smoked up to 14 hours with barbecue sauce and dry rub

Dessert (choose one)

  • Banana Pudding – Fresh banana, caramel and pastry cream, layered Nilla wafers and house-made whipped cream
  • Chocolate Chess Pie – Semi-sweet and bittersweet chocolate and house-made whipped cream
  • Apple Pie – Tart green apples, brown sugar cinnamon buttery crumb topping and house-made whipped cream

FATHER’S DAY
Minus5º ICEBAR
On Sunday, June 19, dads and families are invited to cool off and enjoy family fun inside Minus5º ICEBAR at The LINQ Promenade. Fathers will receive 20 percent off admission with their families along with a complimentary digital photo at Minus5º ICEBAR. 

Virgil’s Real Barbecue
To celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, June 19, Virgil’s Real Barbecue will offer a savory Surf and Turf special for $99. The special includes a 28-ounce, bone-in Tomahawk steak paired with grilled shrimp and served with the choice of two sides. Additionally, the restaurant will offer fathers a complimentary Virgil’s Ale with a purchase of an entrée. 

NATIONAL ONION RING DAY
Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar
Onion ring enthusiasts can enjoy Negra Modelo Butter Onion Rings at Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar on Wednesday, June 22 in celebration of National Onion Ring Day.

Virgil’s Real Barbecue
In honor of National Onion Ring Day on Wednesday, June 22, visitors are also invited to try Virgil’s deep-fried Beer Battered Onion Rings perfect for sharing with friends. 

SUMMER:
Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar
In addition to its National Cheese Day and National Onion Ring Day offerings, Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar kicks off summer with tempting desserts this June. On Tuesday, June 7, the restaurant will celebrate Chocolate Ice Cream Day with its special Mexican Chocolate Abuelita Ice Cream. 

Goorin Bros. Hat Shop
The premium American-designed headwear store on The LINQ Promenade recently announced its brand-new Summer Nights trucker hats series, including the Flamingoals, Baby I’m A, See Horse Play, Beach Bomber, Twitterpated and Iguana Party hats. Each farm trucker hat comes with ultra-soft technical mesh back panels and a terry cloth sweatband to ensure both style and comfort. All hats are made in the U.S. and are available for $50 each.

Honolulu Cookie Company
The Lemon Collection will return to Honolulu Cookie Company on Wednesday, June 1. Visitors are invited to try the delectable lemon and white chocolate lemon premium shortbread cookies in addition to the all-new lemon and guava mini bites. The Lemon Collection is available online and at The LINQ Promenade for a limited time only, while supplies last. Visitors are also invited to try the Occasions Line, featuring newly designed sleeves that make for the perfect thank you, happy birthday or congratulations gift. The Occasions Line will be available online and in-store as an a la carte add-on starting Wednesday, June 1. 

Nectar Bath Treats
Nectar Bath Treats is now offering brand-new gift sets to celebrate every student, teacher and graduate. The After School, School’s Out and Top Teacher gift sets feature limited-edition apple bath bombs, stress eraser pencil bath bombs, apple pie soap and fruit smoothie soaps and scrubs. Gift sets are available from $31 to $89. Select items can also be purchased individually at $9 each.  As the scent of the summer, visitors are also invited to enjoy Nectar Bath Treat’s array of watermelon products, including facial and body scrubs, shea body butter, whipped soap, fizz bath bombs, milkshake bath soaks, ice cream soaps, donut soaps and more. 

Virgil’s Real Barbecue
Sunday, June 5 is National Veggie Burger Day. To celebrate, Virgil’s Real Barbecue will offer the delicious Virgil’s Black Bean Burger made with fresh grilled seasonal vegetables, avocado and Pico de Gallo, served on a brioche bun. The burger is also paired with Virgil’s signature homemade sides. 

ATTRACTIONS:
High Roller Observation Wheel
The Wheel lighting schedule for June follows:
June 3 – National Gun Violence Awareness Day, the wheel will be lit orange.
June 28 – World Pride Day, the wheel will be lit with colors of the rainbow. 

High Roller, the tallest observation wheel in North America, will open daily from 2 p.m. to midnight.

Fly LINQ
Fly LINQ, the only zipline on the Las Vegas Strip, is open Thursday through Monday, from 4 p.m. to midnight. 

Eiffel Tower
Eiffel Tower viewing deck is open Thursday through Monday, from 5 p.m. through midnight.
