GRAND CANYON GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES, KIDIST GRZNAR

LAS VEGAS (June 2019) – Grand Canyon Group, whose brands include Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters, Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines, Buck Wild Grand Canyon Hummer Tours and Grand Canyon Coaches, announces its new vice president of sales, Kidist Grznar.

With an impressive record encompassing more than 20 years of experience, she brings proven talent and an extraordinary passion for the travel, tourism and resort industry. Her experience with multimillion-dollar travel industry sales, international account management, team building/training, operations management and VIP guest services initiatives aligns perfectly with the company’s vision, values and goals.

In her current position, she oversees the corporate sales team which manages wholesale accounts and international distributors. She also spearheads Grand Canyon Group’s direct market planning, sales distribution channel development and company-wide strategies – which include marketing, media relations and advertising.

Prior to Grand Canyon Group, Grznar was at Wynn Las Vegas for 10 years. Her professionalism and dedication resulted in numerous promotions within the company, initially serving as the travel industry sales manager before being named the executive director of travel industry sales. Before Wynn Las Vegas, she worked at MGM Resorts properties, including Luxor Hotel & Casino, where she held the positions of assistant hotel operations manager and guest services manager, as well as wholesale and small groups supervisor at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. Her career began at Hyatt Regency Savannah where she was the revenue and reservations manager.

Grznar was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and grew up in Addis Ababa and Nairobi, Kenya. She speaks German and Amharic. She received her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Euro Business Schule in Mainz, Germany.

“This is an exciting time to be in the travel and tourism industry as we all seek new ways to see and experience the world,” concludes Grznar. “I chose to be part of Grand Canyon Group as the company expands its breadth of experiences to show the world we go ‘above and beyond’ by offering one-of-a-kind, personalized experiences that include helicopters, airplanes, Hummers and buses. How exciting is that?”
