LAS VEGAS (July 2021) – As a result of popular demand, AREA15, announces the residency extension of the global sensation, “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,” through fall 2021. The wildly popular, dynamic digital exhibition honoring the iconic artist is a timed experience encompassing 35 minutes and mapped specifically to fit the nearly 7,000-square-foot Portal. General admission tickets include high-top seating where guests are enveloped in sensational artistry, while VIP tickets include VR goggles to experience “A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles, France,” a virtual stroll alongside Van Gogh himself to explore the countryside settings that inspired his artwork. Tickets may be purchased here.
In addition to expanded dates, guests can also book tickets to “Sunflowers & Rosé: A Guided Painting Experience” taking place on July 29, August 12 and 26. At this two-and a half hour event, guests will explore their own creative side by following along with expert art instructor Kim Bavington for a Van Gogh-inspired painting session inside The Portal before the show begins. “Sunflowers & Rosé” will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include a guided painting tutorial, one glass of rosé or one mimosa per person, followed by a showing of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience — plus a beautiful, handmade painting guests can take home with them. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased here. This event is recommended for ages 12 and older. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to those 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. This event is one of many programming announcements to take place inside The Portal.
