LAS VEGAS (July 2021) – As a result of popular demand, AREA15, announces the residency extension of the global sensation, “Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience,” through fall 2021. The wildly popular, dynamic digital exhibition honoring the iconic artist is a timed experience encompassing 35 minutes and mapped specifically to fit the nearly 7,000-square-foot Portal. General admission tickets include high-top seating where guests are enveloped in sensational artistry, while VIP tickets include VR goggles to experience “A Day in the Life of the Artist in Arles, France,” a virtual stroll alongside Van Gogh himself to explore the countryside settings that inspired his artwork. In addition to expanded dates, guests can also book tickets to “Sunflowers & Rosé: A Guided Painting Experience” taking place on July 29, August 12 and 26. At this two-and a half hour event, guests will explore their own creative side by following along with expert art instructor Kim Bavington for a Van Gogh-inspired painting session inside The Portal before the show begins. “Sunflowers & Rosé” will take place from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and include a guided painting tutorial, one glass of rosé or one mimosa per person, followed by a showing of Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience — plus a beautiful, handmade painting guests can take home with them. Tickets are $60 per person and can be purchased here. This event is recommended for ages 12 and older. Alcoholic beverages will only be served to those 21 years of age or older with a valid ID. This event is one of many programming announcements to take place inside The Portal.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience will be on view Monday through Thursday, 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays, dark; Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Sundays, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Adult tickets start at $35 with 20 percent off for military and seniors; children’s tickets are $19. Nevada residents receive additional discounts. VIP tickets, which include the VR experience, can be added to the general admission ticket for $10 more.

Starry Light Package: An Immersive Art Ticket Package

Van Gogh Family Ticket Package:
Cost: $21.25 per person
Description: Includes tickets for two adults and two children ages 12 and under. Family Ticket Packs will be validated upon entry. No substitutions may be made.

Van Gogh Nevada Resident Family Ticket Package:
Cost: $15 per person
Description: Includes tickets for two adults and two children ages 12 and under. Must present a valid Nevada I.D. to receive entry. Family Ticket Packs will be validated upon entry. No substitutions may be made.

Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience also features a variety of cocktails and French wines, including:

  • The Starry Night: An invigorating combination of elderflower liqueur and citrus with a finishing touch of the mysterious darkness of Absinthe, this exclusive cocktail features St. Germain Elderflower, Copper and King’s Absinthe and fresh lime and lemon juice topped with pineapple juice and star anise.
  • The Sunflower: Bright, light and refreshing, AREA15’s signature mocktail is a lively blend of Ripe’s Fresh Golden Passion Juice and a splash of pineapple juice topped with ginger beer.
  • French Blue Sauvignon Blanc
  • Mouton Cadet Bordeaux Reserve

PUBLIC HEALTH NOTICE
AREA15 and all its experiences follow the latest recommendations of leading health experts and government authorities, including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. AREA15 will no longer require face masks to be worn by guests who are fully vaccinated. For guests that are not fully vaccinated, AREA15 strongly encourages that masks continue to be worn. AREA15 employees will still be required to wear masks until further notice.
