FOREVER RESORTS RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS VOLUNTARY PROTECTION PROGRAM CERTIFICATION FROM THE INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION OF ARIZONA DIVISION OF OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZONA (May 2021) – The Industrial Commission of Arizona Division of Occupational Safety and Health hosted its annual Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) certification ceremony this month. Forever Resorts’ executive vice president John Schoppmann accepted the certification for Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim for continuing participation in the program as a VPP Star site. The designation was made in recognition of the lodge’s outstanding safety and health programs as demonstrated by documentation maintained throughout the organization. Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim is the only hospitality company with the VPP certification in the state of Arizona.
The prestigious VPP award recognizes employers and workers in the private industry and federal agencies who have implemented effective safety and health management systems and maintain injury and illness rates below national Bureau of Labor Statistics averages for their respective industries.
