LAS VEGAS (January 2023) Ferraro’s Ristorante invites guests to experience its next Taste & Learn on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The February Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from Corte dei Venti and Feudo Disisa. Since 1943, the Pieri family has continued to make the finest Corte dei Venti wines amidst the sunny, rich landscapes of Tuscany. Thanks to its frequent sea winds, the location of the vineyard guarantees perfectly ripened grapes. Meanwhile, the Di Lorenzo family has passed down the winemaking traditions of the Feudo Disisa vineyards for more than a century. Its vineyards are nestled among the fertile valleys stretching from the mountains of the Corleone area to the Gulf of Castellammare of Sicily.

Taste & Learn attendees will begin the tasting with the Feudo Disisa Lu Bancu Catarratto, a golden white wine with notes of fresh peaches, citrus and elderflower. Second on the menu is the Corte dei Venti Sant’Antimo Super Tuscan, a ruby red wine with hints of blackberry and sweet spices. Next, the Corte dei Venti Rosso di Montalcino offers a crisp, fresh aroma with ripe red fruit such as plums and cherries. Lastly, guests will end the tasting with the Corte dei Venti Brunello di Montalcino, a robust red wine made with Sangiovese grapes aged for 36 months in large oak barrels.

“Ferraro’s proudly selects the best wines from the finest vineyards in Italy for our Taste & Learn events,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “From Tuscany to Sicily, we choose premier wines to help guests discover new favorites.”
