JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING (July 2018) – Summer vacationers looking for an exhilarating adventure into Jackson Hole, Wyoming’s surrounding wilderness can now book flexible, four-seater, open-air, side-by-side tours or reserve the vehicles for self-guided excursions through Oct. 31. Scenic Safaris, operated by National Park Service concessionaire Forever Resorts, offers half-day and full-day tours showcasing not only the iconic landscapes, but also the many species of fauna that call the parks home. Meanwhile, the four-seater vehicles may also be rented for self-guided two-, four- or eight-hour sessions from both Jackson and Alpine, Wyoming.
Operating on late-model four-seater Can-Am Side-by-Side vehicles, these tours allow visitors to navigate rough terrain with much greater agility and comfort than regular road vehicles. Scenic Safaris’ guided side-by-side tours are led by a local tour expert equipped with extensive knowledge of the area’s history. Tours offer varied views of the Grand Teton range (weather permitting), as well as the chance to spot wildlife and visit some of the less-frequented sights in the Bridger-Teton National Forest. Tours include hotel pick-up, lunch (for the full-day tour) and refreshments, as well as a helmet and rain poncho if needed. Guests are encouraged to bring their own camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, appropriate footwear and an extra layer of clothing.
