SAN FRANCISCO (October 2022) – Emporium Arcade Bar San Francisco, the lively venue known for its classic arcade games, colorful, fun-loving atmosphere and renowned drink menu, invites guests to a weekend of Halloween fun and festivities. The roster of events includes costume contests, live DJs, underground wrestling and an exclusive party for industry professionals. 

Guests must be 21 years or older to visit Emporium. The full lineup of Halloween events follows.

“Not Another Scary Movie… Theater” Halloween Costume Contest
Date: Saturday, Oct. 29
Time: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Location: Emporium Arcade Bar San Francisco at 616 Divisadero St.
Cost: Free.
Description: Emporium’s legendary Halloween costume contest party is back. This year, guests are invited to enjoy live beats by DJ Weapon and DJ Aaron the Era while donning their best Halloween costumes. Winners of the contest will receive cash prizes, including $400 for first place, $200 for second place, $100 for third place and $400 for one lucky group of four or more.

UGWA Presents Devil’s Night 17 Live Pro Wrestling
Date: Sunday, Oct. 30
Time: 5 to 11 p.m.
Location: Emporium Arcade Bar San Francisco at 616 Divisadero St.

Description: Emporium invites the LGBTQ+ community to a special pro wrestling event hosted by the Underground Wrestling Alliance (known around the San Francisco Bay Area as UGWA). What started in the backyards of San Jose, California, in 1996, the UGWA has grown to be one of the premier local promoters of independent wrestling in Northern California. 

“86’d” a Halloween Industry Party 
Date: Monday, Oct. 31
Time: 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Location: Emporium Arcade Bar San Francisco at 616 Divisadero St.
Cost: Free.
Description: Emporium invites industry professionals to an exclusive party with DJ West Kraven. Industry guests can receive 10 free tokens as well as spooky shot + beer specials. In addition, Emporium will feature the “Wheel of Misfortune,” which includes ghastly prizes, if guests dare to take a spin.
