LAS VEGAS (May 2024) – CANNABITION: An Elevated Immersive Experience announces it will open this summer in the Planet 13 Entertainment Complex in Las Vegas. Designed by Emmy Award-winning creative director David Korins, CANNABITION will offer an array of interactive, reality-bending exhibits. Through a kaleidoscope of entertainment, art, technology and education, the destination will spark conversations and ignite curiosity about the past and future of cannabis.

The new and elevated iteration of CANNABITION follows its temporary pop-up experience, previously located in Downtown Las Vegas. The reimagined, more than 12,000-square-foot concept opening to the public this summer will span two stories and includes more interactive, high-tech and futuristic elements.

An enormous, 14-foot-tall bong greets guests outside the entrance of CANNABITION. As they walk through the portal and into the experience, they will be welcomed at the Altar of Ganjess, the mythical goddess of cannabis. Featuring dozens of stand-out exhibits, the entire complex will encourage guests to reimagine how the world could interact with cannabis on deeper cultural, social and scientific levels.

Among dozens of notable exhibits, a collaboration with music legend and cannabis entrepreneur Willie Nelson’s brand, Willie’s Reserve, will feature notable items from the star’s Luck Ranch—with a surprise twist. Additionally, guests will be able to pick up a phone to hear a special message from Willie Nelson himself while also learning unique details about his career.

CANNABITION joins Korins’ portfolio of renowned, multi-dimensional experiences for the world’s most innovative brands and institutions, including artists such as Lady Gaga, Kanye West and Elton John; critically-acclaimed Broadway shows such as “Hamilton,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Beetlejuice,” “The Pee-Wee Herman Show” and the new David Byrne musical, “Here Lies Love”; immersive experiences such as Van Gogh in New York City; and global entities such as Sotheby’s and SHOAF Foundation.
