AREA15 TO ANNOUNCE OPENING DATE WITH ARRIVAL OF VALYRIAN STEEL ART CAR, TUESDAY, SEPT. 1, 10 A.M.

WHAT:
AREA15 invites media to witness the arrival of Las Vegas Artist Henry Chang’s kinetic art cars: Mister Fusion and Valyrian Steel. Part Mad Max, part Mars Rover, the futuristic art cars will be among the monumental art pieces on view inside – and outside – of AREA15 when it opens to the public. In conjunction with Valyrian Steel and Mister Fusion’s arrival, AREA15 will also officially announce its September opening date.

HOW:
Led by Henry Chang himself, the caravan of art cars will depart Chang’s studio, located at 3930 Graphic Center Drive at 9:30 a.m. Valyrian Steel will be transported on the back of a flat-bed truck, leading the procession will be Mister Fusion, Chang’s street-legal art car, an AREA15 mobile billboard announcing the official opening date will follow. The vehicles will follow a route beginning at Chang’s studio near Tropicana Avenue and ending at AREA15 at approximately 10 a.m.
