WHAT:
On Saturday, July 15 and Sunday, July 16, BattleBots, the hit television series and world leader in the fast-growing sport of robot fighting, attended the Open Sauce convention in San Francisco, California, where they hosted an enthralling robot combat panel and interacted with fans. 

Moderated by “The Bot Whisperer” Peter Abrahamson, the panel included BattleBots co-founder Greg Munson, bot builders from the TV show and a representative from the National Havoc Robot League (NHRL). The audience included hundreds of engaged fans asking questions about robot fighting sports.

The two-day event also featured interactive exhibits, the latest in maker technology, other panels and workshops. BattleBots fans and YouTube content creators also received the unique opportunity to interact with bots and bot makers from the TV series at the convention.

ABOUT BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON  
“BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” is the live experience inspired by the drama, action and destruction of the TV series, condensed into an intense, fast-moving, 75-minute theater show. With names such as Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, HyperShock, Ginsu, Malice, Nightmare, Overkill, Tazbot and Whiplash – the lineup also includes new robots created specifically for the live show. Las Vegas audiences will have the unparalleled chance to see new robots, Chopper and Diablo, before they are featured on the TV series.
