“BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” ANNOUNCES NEVADA DAY, HALLOWEEN WEEKEND HAPPENINGS

LAS VEGAS (October 2023) – “BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON,” the live robot-combat experience inspired by the popular TV series, announces its Nevada Day and Halloween weekend happenings, including an exclusive visit by U.S. Air Force Airmen and their four-legged “Robot Dogs.”
In celebration of Nevada Day on Friday, Oct. 27, BattleBots will welcome the Nellis Air Force Base’s 99 Security Forces Squadron and Civil Engineering Squadron to the BattleBots Arena. “DESTRUCT-A-THON” attendees can learn about the U.S. Air Force’s semi-autonomous, “Robot Dogs,” which are utilized in a variety of military initiatives, as well as STEM- and robotics-related careers available within the military. The U.S. Air Force Airmen’s special display will be on view prior to that evening’s 7 p.m. showtime.
To get into the Halloween spirit, “DESTRUCT-A-THON” guests are also encouraged to wear costumes to shows happening on Friday, Oct. 27, Saturday, Oct. 28 and Sunday, Oct. 29. Additional Halloween surprises will be in store, including robot combat teams dressed in costume, a uniquely decorated set and more.

“BATTLEBOTS: DESTRUCT-A-THON” is the live experience inspired by the drama, action and destruction of the TV series, condensed into an intense, fast-moving, 75-minute theater show. With names such as Witch Doctor, Kraken, Mammoth, HyperShock, Ginsu, Malice, Nightmare, Overkill, Tazbot and Whiplash – the lineup also includes new robots created specifically for the live show. Las Vegas audiences will have the unparalleled chance to see new robots, Chopper and Diablo, before they are featured on the TV series.
