LAS VEGAS (February 2026) – The National Atomic Testing Museum invites the public to Atomic Stories: Fall in Love with the 1950s, to be held on Feb. 14 at 12 p.m. Martha DeMarre, a Museum founder and Nevada National Security Site archivist will present the day’s program, which will take place in the auditorium.
While celebrities filled the showrooms and casinos in the 1950s, the Atomic Age was in full swing and tourism officials used mushroom cloud blasts as a bombastic way to capture the world’s attention. Through stories DeMarre brings to life, attendees will travel back to the days when atomic flashes illuminated the desert sky and the Strip shimmered with movie stars, high-rollers and dreamers chasing their luck.
The event is included with Museum admission. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit atomicmuseum.vegas.
