AREA15 ANNOUNCES “RATED RED – A TANTALIZING BURLESQUE EXPERIENCE” OPENING OCT. 8

LAS VEGAS (September 2021) – On Oct. 8, AREA15, the immersive art, event and entertainment district, will host the opening of “RATED RED: A Tantalizing Burlesque Experience.” Audience members are invited to ignite their inner obsessions at this unconventional burlesque show so raw, so racy and reimagined, it can only be “RATED RED.” A little bit dangerous and a whole lot sexy, this show is intended for mature audiences, while still leaving much to the imagination. “RATED RED” will take place every Friday night at 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. inside The Portal, the 360-degree projection-mapped room at AREA15. Preview shows with special pricing will take place Oct. 1. 

Choreographed by Jawkeen Howard and assistant choreographer Starley Ann Carrington, the show provides a tantalizing departure from the ordinary burlesque experience, with stimulating performances that evoke passion, power, desire, danger, seduction and love. The show includes a diverse company of best-in-class dancers, each possessing their own unique fire. Guests can expect to experience classic burlesque, acrobatic, pole and showgirl performances to a mix of live and recorded music. 

An up-and-coming American jazz-funk hip hop choreographer, Howard’s style comprises of a smooth, intricate, sexy, energetic and melodic movement inspired by the late Bob Fosse. Howard is passionate about teaching and supporting his community and has spent most of his career in the entertainment industry. He has worked with artists such as Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, Kanye West, Jill Scott, The Killers, Josh Strickland and many others. 

Tickets are on sale now. Ticket prices are as follows:

• Preview shows on Oct. 1 feature special preview pricing; standard seated tickets start at $50; $125 for high-top tables for up to four people; VIP couches closest to the stage are $200 for two people and include specialty cocktails and surprises during the show. 
• Regular show ticket prices begin on Oct. 8; standard seated tickets start at $75; high-top tables are $200 for up to four people; VIP couches closest to the stage for $300 for two people and include specialty cocktails and surprises during the show.
