LAS VEGAS (October 2022) AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, announces its roster of Las Vegas Pride happenings in October, which include participating as a sponsor in this year’s Las Vegas Pride Night Parade and Pride Festival. Additionally, AREA15 invites guests to enjoy an array of pride activations, including Choke Hole – Extreme Drag Wrestling, TOKiMONSTA and pride-themed cocktails. 

Highlighted happenings and promotions follow:

Choke Hole – Extreme Drag Wrestling
Date: Thursday, Oct. 6 through Saturday, Oct. 8
Time:  Thursday, Oct. 6 at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, Oct. 7 at 9:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Location: The Portal

Description: Set in the near distant future, Choke Hole is the universe’s most popular form of entertainment. Hosted by intergalactic television mogul Gorlëënyah and her sex-robot minion Visqueen, Choke Hole is a battle royale where hopeful contestants fight to the death for a chance to win fame, glory and a lifetime supply of SQUELSH (the energy drink that calms you down), now with alcohol. The event itself combines lip syncing performances, choreographed wrestling matches, acting, character building and prerecorded backstage drama videos to create an overarching storyline, creating a fully immersive nightlife experience.

Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade
Date: Friday, Oct. 7
Time: The evening’s pre-show will begin at 6 p.m. and the parade will begin at 7 p.m.
Location: Downtown Las Vegas on the corner of 4th Street and Bridger Avenue.
Cost: Free to attend
Description: AREA15 team members and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” cast members will be participating in this year’s Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade. During the parade, AREA15 will float through the streets on the illuminated “Dancetronauts” art car and pass out branded swag to attendees. 

AREA15 Block Party Weekend
Dates: Friday, Oct. 7 and Saturday, Oct. 8
Location: LIFTOFF Bar and Ride
Time: 8 p.m.
Description: Every weekend, guests are invited to enjoy LIFTOFF Bar and Ride’s Block Party. The Block Party includes drink specials, food trucks, outdoor games, rides on LIFTOFF, a panoramic skyline experience, and sounds provided by live DJs. Drink specials include $20 buckets of beer and Casamigos tequila flights.

TOKiMONSTA: Unseen Forest Tour: Live in the A-Lot 
Date: Friday, Oct. 7
Time: Doors open at 9:30 p.m.
Location: A-Lot
Cost: Tickets start at $19.95 per person. VIP tables and Premium VIP Tables for up to eight guests are also available. Must be 18 or older to attend and 21 or older to consume alcohol. Click here to purchase tickets.

Las Vegas PRIDE Festival
Date: Saturday, Oct. 8
Time: Noon to 11 p.m.
Location: Craig Ranch Regional Park at 628 W Craig Road
Cost: Tickets can be purchased on Eventbrite. General admission ticket options include:

  • Online general admission festival entry – $25 until event
  • At the gates general admission festival entry – $30 at the main gates

Description: AREA15 invites the community to join in the celebration to live authentically and embrace the spectrum at this year’s Las Vegas PRIDE Festival. AREA15 will feature a festival booth, including recruiting opportunities, giveaways and a live painting by local artists Pretty Done and Gem Jaxx.

AREA15 Industry Mondays
Dates: Monday, Oct. 10
Location: Select venues throughout AREA15
Time: 8 p.m. to closing
Description: Guests are invited to the recently relaunched Industry Mondays at AREA15. Feel the beats from a variety of DJs on the decks and underneath the glow of Oddwood Bar. Locals will enjoy a 25 percent discount on select activations, experiences and libations inside AREA15 with a local ID every Monday night. Discounts during Industry Night apply to “Wink World: Portals Into The Infinite,” Museum Fiasco, Five Iron Golf and Dueling Axes, as well as food and drinks at The Beast by Todd English and Oddwood Bar. Pride-Themed Cocktail at Oddwood Bar
