LAS VEGAS (October 2023) AREA15, the immersive art and entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, invites guests to enjoy an array of brand-new events, promotions and experiences this October.

HALLOWEEN WEEKEND PROGRAMMING:

Celebrating Nevada Day – School of Rock, Temporary Tattoo Fun and More
Date: Friday, Oct. 27
Time: 3 to 4 p.m.
Location: The Wall
Cost: Admission is complimentary and all ages are welcome to this event.
Description: This Nevada Day, the School of Rock’s five-piece kid band will play classic Halloween hits in The Wall. Families are invited to hang out, dance and groove to the music throughout the festivities. A pop-up artist will also be offering complimentary temporary tattoos – fun for children and adults alike.  

ScareOke Night – ScAREA15 Edition
Dates: Friday, Oct. 27
Time:  7 to 10 p.m.
Location: Asylum Bar + Arcade
Cost:  Admission is complimentary.
Description:  Asylum hosts themed karaoke nights each month. October is the ScAREA15 edition hosted by Kara Jockeys. Guests will receive 25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada I.D.

ScAREA15 – Halloween Massive 2023 with G Jones and Special Guests
Date: Saturday, Oct. 28
Time: Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
Location: A-Lot, The Portal and The Wall.

Description: Guests can party all night with mysterious frights during this year’s ScAREA15 Massive featuring live music, interactive art, roaming performers, vendors, craft makers and more. Including a headlining performance by G Jones, attendees can enjoy six hours of bone-crushing bass across three stages. Additional performers include Lunice, David Starfire, Steller, Living Light, J. Handel, Zaiaku and a takeover by Church of Bass. AREA15 also invites guests to let their inner pirate, siren, mermaid (or merman), sea creature or bohemian wanderer come to life for a spectacular costume contest. 

Halloween Night: Christian Löffler + Parra for Cuva 
Date: Tuesday, Oct. 31
Time: Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
Location: The Portal

Description: This Halloween night, guests are invited to get spooky at ScAREA15 as Christian Löffler + Parra for Cuva unleash moody, downtempo house and techno beats with support by Beary the Otter. Attendees will also experience haunting projection-mapped visuals inside The Portal.

“The Rocky Horror Picture Show” Immersive Viewing Experience in The Portal
Date: Friday, Oct. 27 and Sunday, Oct. 29
Time: Showings at 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Location: The Portal
Cost: General admission tickets are $44.95 per person and include one specialty cocktail; VIP tickets are $84.95 per person and include one specialty cocktail, front row premium seating and special participation props. Must be 21 or older to enter. Click here to purchase tickets.
Description: Prepare for a time warp as “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” makes its way to The Portal again this Halloween weekend. Guests will have a frightfully riotous night while sipping drinks and watching this 1975 musical comedy horror film by 20th Century Fox—the longest-running theatrical release in film history. Attendees can also look forward to live performances by more than a dozen experienced Las Vegas entertainers, led by Brandon “Axle” Pereyda in the role of Frank-N-Furter. Pereyda’s career spans 20 years on the Las Vegas Strip in productions including “Chippendales,” “Zumanity,” “Michael Jackson the Immortal World Tour” and more.

LAS VEGAS PRIDE HAPPENINGS:

“Leaves of Light” PRIDE Edition at Oddwood Bar
Dates: Thursday, Oct. 5
Time: 7 p.m. to close.
Location: Oddwood Bar
Description: October’s “Leaves of Light” night offerings will include a PRIDE-themed cocktail called “Love Out Loud” to be enjoyed under the 5,000 twinkling LED lights of Oddwood’s Japanese maple tree. From 7 to 8 p.m. guests can also purchase a $5 sponsored cocktail and enjoy a reverse happy hour from 10 p.m. to close with 25% off specialty cocktails and 50% off house wine, beer and well drinks and $5 draft beer.

Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade
Date: Friday, Oct. 6
Time: The evening’s pre-show will begin at 6 p.m. and the parade will begin at 7 p.m.
Location: Downtown Las Vegas on the corner of 4th Street and Clark Avenue.
Cost: Free to attend
Description: During this year’s Las Vegas PRIDE Night Parade, AREA15 team members will float through the streets while passing out branded swag to attendees. This year’s giveaways, include tote bags, buttons and stickers, featuring the work of renowned German artist Rory Midhani. T-shirts are on sale at the AREA15 Swag Store.

Beyond Brunch – The Only Variety Show Brunch in Las Vegas
Date: Sunday, Oct. 15
Time: Doors open at 11 a.m.
Location: The Wall
Cost: General admission is $105 per person. Bottomless mimosas or Bloody Marys can be added for $39. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. For more information or to purchase tickets and drink packages, click here.
Description: In partnership with Las Vegas PRIDE, AREA15 invites guests to Beyond Brunch – the only variety show brunch in Las Vegas. The event will feature drag, comedy, acrobatics, circus-style variety acts and all of the glitz and glamour. The brunch will be hosted by drag “showgirl” Andrew Ryan and will star a dynamic cast of entertainers performing signature acts. Attendees can also enjoy fabulous brunch dining options and enhance their experience with drink packages or libations at AREA15’s cash bar. A portion of proceeds will also benefit Las Vegas PRIDE.

ONGOING EVENTS, ENTERTAINMENT AND PACKAGES:
Grand Prix Racing SIMs
The big race arrived early at AREA15. Four brand-new Grand Prix Racing SIMs are revved up and ready to ride inside of Asylum Bar + Arcade’s first floor. Riders can now experience what it’s like to drive on the actual Grand Prix circuit track that will crisscross throughout Las Vegas this fall. Riders can drive against each other or alongside professional drivers within the game. Individual tickets for the Grand Prix Racing SIMs start at $13.50 per person. Discounted tickets are also available for local military and children for $10.25 per person. Tickets can also be purchased with an Experience Pass.

Unlimited Experience Pass
Dates: Available daily.
Times: Passes can be redeemed after 11 a.m. Guests are recommended to arrive no later than 6 p.m. to provide ample time to experience AREA15’s attractions. Please note AREA15 is strictly 21+ after 9 p.m. but most attractions are open until midnight.
Locations: Select experiences throughout AREA15.
Cost: Passes for guests 13 years or older are $89 and passes for children, seniors, Nevada residents and military are $65. To purchase tickets, click here.
Description: AREA15’s brand-new Unlimited Experience Pass provides access to some of the most popular rides, attractions, games, VR/AR and walk-through experiences at the immersive entertainment complex. The pass includes three to 10 hours of fun and up to 11 experiences, including Illuminarium, Museum Fiasco, Wink World, Brainstorm, Asylum Arcade ($5 in tokens), LIFTOFF Ride, Oz Ride, Van Gogh VR, Birdly, Particle Quest and Grand Prix Racing SIMs.

Kaia Handroll Happy Hour
Dates: Every Sunday through Thursday.
Time: 7 to 10 p.m.
Location: Kaia Handroll
Description: Offering a vibrant, modern take on sushi handrolls inspired by traditional Japanese flavors and techniques, guests are invited to be the hero of happy hour at Kaia Handroll. Visitors dining in can enjoy 25% off all sakes. Guests buying two handrolls will also get one free.

AREA15 Block Party Weekends
Dates: Fridays and Saturdays
Time: 7 p.m. to closing
Location: LIFTOFF Bar & Ride
Description: Guests are invited to enjoy the return of AREA15’s block party weekends at LIFTOFF Bar & Ride. The Block Party includes drink specials, food trucks, local vendors, outdoor games, rides on LIFTOFF and sounds provided by live DJs. Drink special features Querido tequila flights. 

AREA15’S RADIANCE WELLNESS PROGRAM INSIDE THE PORTAL:
Guests are invited to explore mind, body and soul at Radiance, AREA15’s wellness program featuring a variety of ongoing programs including:

Rhythm Ritual – The Art of Sacred Movement and Sound
Date: Wednesday, Oct. 4
Times: Class begins at 7 p.m.
Location: The Portal

Description: Utilizing dance, martial arts, yoga and moving mantras, this class will help guests drop into and open up their bodies. Following the guidance of chants to open the voice, attendees will round out the experience with a splash of ecstatic dance to a live DJ set. To conclude, Rhythm Ritual will bring attendees back to center with breathwork to clear and ground the nervous system and a beautiful sound bath to anchor energy and move into a state of deep relaxation.

Frequency Breathwork
Date: Tuesday, Oct. 17 and Sunday Oct. 29
Times: Class begins at 7 p.m. on weekdays and 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Location: The Portal

Description: Guests are invited to a guided conscious breathwork experience by Frequency Breathwork inside The Portal, AREA15’s 3D projection-mapped room. Attendees can immerse themselves in this deep psychedelic experience through the power and safety of their own oxygen supply. While practicing breathwork, guests will be surrounded by transporting visuals projected throughout the room which heighten the effect of the experience.

Ecstatic Dance Las Vegas
Date: Wednesday, Oct. 18
Time: Class begins at 7 p.m.

Description: All ages are welcome to Ecstatic Dance Las Vegas by Marissa Romero inside AREA15’s projection-mapped Portal. Each session includes a 30-minute guided movement warm up and opening featuring different movement artists followed by a two-hour live ecstatic dance DJ set with additional artists. The event will conclude with a 15-minute sound healing and closing circle. 

The Sacred Lounge – A Conscious Community Experience
Date: Monday, Oct. 23
Time: Class begins at 7 p.m.
Location: The Portal and Sanctuary

Description: Attendees are invited to open their creative pathways and dive deeper into mind, body and spiritual health with Merriliz Monzon and Krystian Eklund. The Sacred Lounge encompasses one-hour guided classes in AREA15’s projection-mapped Portal incorporating movement, meditation and sound bath healing experiences to empower and awaken the community. Guests will be guided through an experiential process of calming the mind, opening the body’s creative channels and learning techniques to elevate their consciousness for the fulfillment of their purpose. Following each session, guests can enjoy a social hour in AREA15’s Sanctuary.

AREA15 “AL1V5” Beverage Menu at Oddwood Bar and Sanctuary

Description: Following every Radiance Wellness Program event, attendees can mix and mingle underneath the twinkling branches at Oddwood Bar and Sanctuary, located in the heart of AREA15. The AL1V5 (pronounced “alive”) menu features wellness-inspired beverages and craft mocktails designed to replenish nutrients and refreshment after class. Guests can try a variety of options including the Ginger Cooler, made with orange and lemon juice, almond syrup, egg whites and ginger beer, or stay hydrated with wellness shots such as the Stay Golden, made with pineapple, turmeric, lemon and coconut water.

OCTOBER EVENTS INSIDE ASYLUM:
“Power Up” Happy Hour Special for Locals
Dates: Every Monday through Thursday.
Time: 11 a.m. to midnight.
Cost:  25% off all beverages with a valid Nevada ID.
Description: Nevada residents are invited to enjoy “Power Up,” a special all-day happy hour featuring 25% off all beverages every Monday through Thursday. Locals 21 and up can imbibe with Asylum’s expansive array of curated canned and draft beers, house-made boozy slushies, draft cocktails, fine spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages.

 Live DJ Nights

Description: Asylum invites guests to its rotating roster of live performances by Las Vegas’ most talented DJs. Regular performers spinning tunes include Matt Lucio, Teen Wolf, DJ Que, DJ Stretch, DJ Gettright and Kid Conrad.

Monthly Cannabis Agent Appreciation Event with DJ Matt Lucio

Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Cannabis agents are invited to an industry appreciation event on the third Friday of each month. Invited guests will receive complimentary tokens for arcade play. RSVP via guest list for free entry and receive $5.00 in game tokens.

Football Viewing Parties
Dates: Sunday, Monday and Thursday
Time:  Game time or during operating hours
Cost: Admission is complimentary.
Description: Enjoy the games each week at Asylum Bar + Arcade. On Sundays, ask the bartender for that day’s drink special. On Monday and Thursday, guests will receive 25% off all beverages all day with a valid Nevada ID.

Arcade Glory – An Ode to the Emo Movement
