Throughout the holiday weekend, the destination located just one hour south of Las Vegas will offer a lineup of family-friendly activities, live entertainment and patriotic food and beverage offerings commemorating America’s 250th anniversary.
On Saturday, July 4, five-time world champion free rider and professional watercraft athlete Mark Gomez of JETEFX will lead two jet ski shows, including a 5:30 p.m. performance followed by a red, white and blue-themed LED laser performance at 7:30 p.m. Visitors can watch the high-action freestyle watercraft shows and stunt performances at the marina in front of the café or call Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina to reserve a spot in the coveted splash zone. Guests can also look forward to an all-American BBQ dinner from 6 to 8 p.m. To round out the evening, the Velvet Moon Band will perform live starting at 6 p.m. and the bar will be open from 4 to 10 p.m. or later.
An array of patriotic breakfast and lunch specials such as red, white and blue pancakes as well as BBQ hotdogs with all the fixings will also be offered throughout the weekend as well as extended hours of operation. Guests may visit the café on Friday, July 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Saturday, July 4 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (or later); and Sunday, July 5 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. An array of merchandise specials will also be available throughout the weekend at the store, including select souvenirs priced at $2.50 each to commemorate the nation’s anniversary.
