The Mob Museum Welcomes Back Kimberly Kindig as Vice President of Advancement

LAS VEGAS (September 2, 2025)The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, is pleased to announce the return of Kimberly Kindig as Vice President of Advancement, effective Sept. 8, 2025. In her new role, Kindig will oversee the Museum’s fundraising initiatives, including donations, grants and the potential pursuit of New Market Tax Credits.

A native Nevadan, Kindig brings more than 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience to the Museum. Most recently, she served as the first CEO of Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation of Nevada, leading six years of record growth that secured a permanent home for expanded programs and long-term stability. Prior to Candlelighters, Kindig held senior leadership roles at The Mob Museum from 2013 to 2019, including Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships and Director of Development and Membership. Earlier in her career, she led senior programs and refugee services at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada.

“Kimberly is an accomplished leader with a proven track record of advancing nonprofit organizations in our community,” said Jonathan Ullman, CEO of The Mob Museum. “Her strategic expertise, passion for service, and history with the Museum make her the ideal person to lead our advancement efforts as we continue to grow and expand our impact.”

Kindig earned a bachelor of art’s degree in political science and Spanish from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in nonprofit leadership from the University of Pennsylvania.
