LAS VEGAS (October 2025) – The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, announces the launch of season three of its award-winning original podcast, “Inside the Life,” on Thursday, Oct. 23. Hosted by former elite undercover agents Giovanni Rocco and Dutch McAlpin, the acclaimed series returns with another gripping season of firsthand accounts from those who have lived inside the world of organized crime, and those who risked everything to bring it down. New episodes will debut weekly on Thursdays.
Season three features an extraordinary lineup of guests, from former gangsters and a corrupt cop to undercover agents and an investigative journalist, each revealing untold stories from the criminal underworld and the front lines of law enforcement. Upcoming guests include:
- Jake Adelstein: Adelstein shares his experiences as an American journalist investigating Japan’s Yakuza and uncovering the secrets of a foreign underworld from inside, including a special alliance between a top Yakuza boss and the FBI.
- Anthony Arillotta: Arillotta will reveal how he rose through the ranks of the Genovese crime family’s Springfield, Massachusetts, faction to become boss before ultimately turning government informant.
- Pete Chin: Chin recounts his journey from a young immigrant boy surviving the streets of New York City to the head of Chinatown’s Ghost Shadows gang.
- Justin “OG Mooch” DeLoretto: Justin “Mooch” DeLoretto is a former Oregon chapter president of the Mongols Motorcycle Club. After leaving the club in 2022, he now works as a social worker and authored “The Ride of My Life.”
- Michael Dowd: Host of the “Good Cop Bad Cop” podcast, Dowd exposes the inner workings of his double life as a New York Police Department officer turned corrupt criminal.
- Bob Palombo: Palombo is a retired DEA agent best known for leading the years-long pursuit and eventual arrest of cocaine kingpin Griselda Blanco during Miami’s “cocaine wars” era.
- Scott Payne: Payne is a retired FBI special agent and veteran undercover operative whose 25+ year career included infiltrating outlaw motorcycle gangs, major drug networks and white supremacist groups. In a unique interview, going beyond what Payne has shared on other podcasts, he and his former colleagues reflect on the cases they worked together while undercover.
- Terry Rankhorn: The country’s foremost expert on undercover training, Rankhorn returns to share his experience targeting Al Qaeda cells as an undercover agent.
- Tonesa Welch: Known as the “First Lady” of the Black Mafia Family, Welch will discuss her integral role in Detroit’s illegal drug trade and the lasting impact of the BMF legacy.
