PARK OPENS FOR 2021 SEASON MAY 14

GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK, WYOMING (March 2021) – Signal Mountain Lodge and Campground located inside Grand Teton National Park will open for its 2021 season May 14 through Oct. 17. Located on the shore of Jackson Lake, 30 miles from Jackson, Wyoming and 27 miles from Yellowstone National Park, the lodge offers guests the chance to immerse themselves in the invigorating mountain air and encounter extraordinary wildlife while surrounded by exquisite vistas.

Signal Mountain Lodge will open with a majority of its amenities available, including the general store and gift shop. The general store will have a full selection of cold grab and go items. The Trapper Grill will open for take-out service only. Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Lunch and dinner with on premise consumption bar beverages will be available for take-out from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Also located inside Grand Teton National Park, Signal Mountain Campground opens May 14 and Lizard Creek Campground will open on June 11. For the first time this year, reservations are now required at these campgrounds and may be made at www.Recreation.gov.  With more travelers seeking safe, open-air vacation experiences than ever before, the new reservation system will allow visitors to plan ahead with confidence, knowing they will have a campsite awaiting them when they arrive. A park-wide initiative with the National Park Service, the new system was developed to improve the visitor’s experience and represents a direct response to public requests.
