LAS VEGAS (May 2023) – SAHARA Las Vegas, the most iconic casino-resort on the Las Vegas Strip, announces Mike Hnatuick as its new vice president of security and Stan Williams as its new director of security.

Vice President of Security Mike Hnatuick 
Previously working as SAHARA Las Vegas’s director of security for more than five years, Mike Hnatuick will now serve as the casino-resort’s vice president of security. In his current role, Hnatuick leads the security department in providing a safe environment for guests and Team Members. With a passion for leadership, mentorship and problem solving, Hnatuick values being part of something greater than himself. Prior to joining the company more than seven years ago, Hnatuick served 25 years with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department where he retired as a sergeant. Living in Las Vegas since 1974, Hnatuick earned his Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. 

Director of Security Stan Williams 
For the last year, Stan Williams has served as SAHARA Las Vegas’s security manager. In his new role as director of security, Williams oversees the development of the security department by updating and implementing new procedures and policies as well as recruiting, selecting and hiring new employees. Working for the company for more than nine years, Williams is passionate about meeting new people and operating in fast-paced roles. Williams also enjoys collaborating with different law enforcement agencies to ensure tourists have the safest and best guest experience possible. Prior to joining SAHARA Las Vegas, Williams also served as the chief of security for the Sands Expo Convention Center and the security supervisor for The Orleans Hotel & Casino where he was named team member of the month in 2004. Over the course of his career, Wiliams has also been credited with saving seven guests with CPR.
