SAHARA LAS VEGAS ANNOUNCES MICHAEL TOZZI AS
NEW VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING
LAS VEGAS (January 2024) – SAHARA Las Vegas announces Michael Tozzi as its new vice president of marketing. With more than 16 years in the hospitality and gaming industry, Tozzi stands poised to bring substantially more brand awareness for SAHARA Las Vegas to the hospitality marketplace. His goals include enhancing the brand positioning, capturing greater share-of-wallet spend among resort guests and driving visitation by drawing new audiences to the iconic Las Vegas Strip resort, which has been completely reinvented following a $200 million renovation.
As vice president of marketing, Tozzi develops and oversees all aspects of the brand marketing strategy. Through compelling, relevant and targeted messaging, he will leverage the unique value propositions of SAHARA Las Vegas’ portfolio of destinations. Thriving in an ever-changing environment, Tozzi executes strategic plans through paid media, database marketing, social media, website, public relations and on-property asset activations to drive overall business objectives.
Prior to his current role, Tozzi held prestigious marketing positions in Las Vegas, including vice president of brand marketing and advertising for Drew Las Vegas and Resorts World Las Vegas. Additionally, he served as the vice president of brand marketing for the luxury portfolio at MGM Resorts International. Tozzi also served ARIA Resort & Casino and Vdara Hotel & Spa as vice president of brand strategy and as well as director of marketing and advertising for The Mirage Hotel & Casino, where he attended the organization’s exclusive Leadership Institute and was also named a Diversity Champion.
Originally from Rhode Island, Tozzi earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing from the University of Rhode Island. He attributes much of his success to Las Vegas casino and resort executives Bobby Baldwin, Franz Kallao, Michael Peltyn, Paul Berry and Josef Wagner.
