 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

REFUGE FOR WOMEN LAS VEGAS ANNOUNCES AMBASSADOR INITIATIVE

Organization Supporting Survivors of Human Trafficking, Sexual Exploitation Seeks Community Support

LAS VEGAS (April 2022) – Refuge for Women Las Vegas (RFW), the organization dedicated to empowering sexually exploited women to live a life of freedom through faith-based residential programs encompassing mental-health counseling, job training, life-skills coaching and other critical services, announces its new Ambassador Initiative. Designed to increase awareness within the Southern Nevada community of RFW’s mission and services, the Ambassador Initiative will also raise funds to support existing programs as well as the expansion of services to reach more women.

RFW Ambassadors will commit to the following:

  • Praying weekly for RFW
  • Investing strategically with a financial gift to advance RFW’s mission
  • Graciously introducing at least four to six people annually to RFW by hosting gatherings in their home (coffees, lunches, etc.)
  • Attending special events and strategic meetings throughout the year to support RFW

To keep them apprised of the impact of their contributions, RFW Ambassadors will receive ongoing communication from the RFW executive team about the distribution of financial resources, goals and results in the form of monthly updates via email, conference call or webinar. All Ambassadors will also receive collateral materials to support each of RFW’s initiatives.

“We seek a select group of thoughtful leaders to join us in the Ambassador role and commit to championing the cause of restoring women’s lives and raising funds to support our mission,” said Robin Smith, executive director, Refuge for Women Las Vegas. “Our partnership with these key individuals will truly change the lives of women to ensure their safety and security.”
