LAS VEGAS (May 2019) –The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement, introduces a captivatingly clandestine new setting for memorable weddings in Downtown Las Vegas: The Underground’s VIP room. This cleverly concealed secret room is located in The Underground, the Museum’s Prohibition history exhibition housing a moonshine distillery and speakeasy. Guests who opt for this memorable location for their nuptials will enjoy a Roaring 20s
Wedding including:

• Speakeasy-inspired ceremony in the Museum’s elegant, hidden VIP room, which
  accommodates the bride, groom, officiant and up to eight guests.
• Wedding officiant’s fee.
• Specialty cocktail toast for all guests.
• Two hours’ private use of the VIP room.
• Guest access to the Museum.
• Price starting at $650.

Upgrades available include one hour of professional photography throughout the Museum, a bridal bouquet and groom’s boutonniere, and a private guided highlight tour of the Museum.

This option joins several other wedding packages available at the Museum, which is able to host ceremonies and receptions for up to 150 guests. ABOUT THE UNDERGROUND
The Underground is an immersive Prohibition history exhibit, featuring a distillery, speakeasy and private VIP room located in the basement of The Mob Museum and sponsored by Zappos. Its custom-made, copper-pot still, dubbed “Virginia Still” after mobster Benjamin “Bugsy” Siegel’s notorious girlfriend Virginia Hill, has a capacity of 60 gallons and can serve up to 250 750-mL jars of moonshine per week. The Underground also brews and serves craft beer onsite. Artifacts from the 1920s and 1930s on display tell the intriguing story of the Prohibition era, which not only saw a proliferation of
bootlegged booze and the meteoric growth of organized crime outfits, but also had a profound, lasting impact on society and culture.
