LATEST NEWS FROM THE LINQ PROMENADE – FALL 2019

LAS VEGAS (September 2019) – Fall might be the most anticipated season of the year in Las Vegas–temperatures are mild, skies are blue—perfect conditions to enjoy all The LINQ Promenade has to offer. This season, visitors to the dining, retail and entertainment district at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip can enjoy plenty of sports viewing and promotions, live entertainment and the city’s most anticipated Halloween celebration. Read on for a rundown of timely story ideas centered at The LINQ Promenade.

SPORTS SEASON
Attention football and hockey fans! As the weather cools down, The LINQ Promenade’s restaurants and bars offer multiple places to watch games and enjoy food and drink specials including:

  • High Roller Observation Wheel: Serving Vegas Golden Knights-themed drink specials in the Sky Lounge for guests before they ride the observation wheel.
  • Yard House: Happy hour is available during all football games every Monday. Specials include half off select appetizers and pizzas, $2 off beers, wine, cocktails and spirits.
  • Off the Strip Bistro + Bar:
    • Food specials available during football games include mini chili dogs and tater tots for $14, buffalo chicken tenders and tater tots for $16 and a bucket of dry-rubbed wings with tater tots for $19. Buckets of beer are also available for $25.
    • During hockey games guests can purchase an appetizer platter stacked with mini chili dogs, wings, buffalo chicken tenders and tater tots for $35. Beverage specials include $25 buckets of beer and free Golden Kamikaze shots when the Golden Knights score a goal for bar top guests during NHL games.
  • ameriCAN: Guests can sip on beer and shot specials while watching all professional football and hockey games at the beer can capital of the Strip.
  • Virgil’s Real BBQ: Available every Sunday and Monday during football season, fans can enjoy $5 shots and $20 pitchers of beer to wash down the finger-licking BBQ at The LINQ Promenade.

HALLOWEEN:
Guests are invited to dress up and spend the spookiest time of year at The LINQ Promenade with activities including:
Nightly, Oct. 25 – 31

  • Halloween show: 8 p.m., – 11 p.m. – Stage show to start at the top of the hour.
  • High Roller Observation Wheel: The world’s tallest observation wheel at 550 feet will be lighted in a Halloween color scheme on Oct. 31.

Saturday, Oct. 26

  • TRIQ or TREAT: 3 – 7 p.m. – Locals and Las Vegas visitors are invited to The LINQ Promenade for safe street trick or treating, with the chance to collect bags full of candy and other goodies from more than 40 outlets.
  • Day of the Dead: On Friday, Nov. 1 the Promenade will host their second Vegas Live event from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. Presented by local musician Mike Xavier, this special celebration will feature artists showcasing the local Latin music scene on the Fountain Stage.

Off the Strip Bistro & Bar: Haunted beverage specials include “Zombie Snot” shots, “Witches Brew” cocktails, $25 buckets of beer and $5 Jägermeister shots.

NEW THIS FALL:
High Roller Observation Wheel and FLY LINQ Zipline:

  • First Responders ride free on both the High Roller and FLY LINQ zipline from Oct. 1 to Oct. 31.
  • During the Las Vegas Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon, guests receive 50 percent off on the High Roller with promocode “HRROCK.” Guests also receive $10 off FLY LINQ zipline tickets off with promocode “FLROCK.”. Both offers are available Nov. 15 to Nov. 18.

Razer: Recently opened, RazerStore Las Vegas presents the perfect gaming experience for all. I Love Sugar: Opening this fall is I LOVE SUGAR, the latest and most extraordinary candy experience to date in 2019. The new Las Vegas flagship will be I LOVE SUGAR’s most architecturally innovative store, featuring a monumental façade and state of the art design that creates a stunning new destination in one of the world’s most visited tourist destinations. Spanning 14,000 square feet of candy paradise, I LOVE SUGAR Las Vegas will also be the largest candy experience in the world.

ICEBAR: Opening this November, the immersive ice attraction made entirely from solid ice, offers an unforgettable frozen ambience and frosty cocktails familiar to fans of Minus5 Experience.

Starbucks: Fall favorites are back including the Pumpkin Spice Latte and the brand-new Salted Caramel Mocha.  A new drink will launch on their menu – Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. 

Light up The Night: The LINQ Promenade sells nighttime light up toys from push carts located at the open-air district. Light up the nighttime and keep the playtime fun going into the evening.

“Sunset Flight of Flights” Experience with FLY LINQ and Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters: This over-the-top Las Vegas experience commences with a sunset flight in a Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopter over the Strip, followed by FLY LINQ, the only zipline in the world to offer guests four different ways to fly via 10 side-by-side lines. The package concludes with a pre-dinner beer flight at The Book bar at The LINQ Hotel & Casino. Thanksgiving – Thursday, Nov. 28:

  • Off the Strip Bistro & Bar – On Thanksgiving, guests can enjoy $25 buckets of beer, $5 Jameson shots, $5 Patron shots and $7 Wild Turkey and coke.
  • Virgil’s Real BBQ – On Thanksgiving, guests can enjoy traditional plated meals for dine-in guests as well as eight classic dishes boxed up to go.

Veteran’s Day – Monday, Nov. 11:

  • High Roller and FLY LINQ: US military ride free on both High Roller and FLY LINQ zipline on Veteran’s Day.
  • Off the Strip Bistro & Bar – Veterans Day specials include 15 percent off the bill for guests with military identification.

Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips:
It’s this English-themed hotspot’s third birthday on Oct. 7. Guests can join the celebration during a cake-cutting at 10:40 a.m. as well as food specials.
