LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA (September 2025) – Lake Mead Mohave Adventures (LMMA) invites visitors to discover the region’s best-kept secret: fall on the lake. Known as “Secret Season,” autumn at Lake Mead and Lake Mohave brings smaller crowds, cooler days and still-warm waters—an unbeatable combination for outdoor adventure.
This year, “Secret Season” is also “Value Season.” At a time when travel and leisure expenses are rising, LMMA is offering guests an affordable way to enjoy the lake. With special promotions on lodging and boat rentals, visitors can experience all the beauty of the region at a fraction of the cost.
Guests can book with code FALL25 to receive 25% off houseboats, flotels and motels, or use code FALL30 to receive 30% off pontoon and fish skiff rentals. Both offers are valid through Friday, Oct. 31.
In addition to daytime lake adventures, fall offers the year’s most spectacular dark sky viewing. With crisp evening air and clear night skies, visitors can gaze at constellations and planets unobstructed by city lights—whether from the deck of a houseboat or a shoreline motel. Visitors exploring Temple Bar Resort & Marina can further enhance their stargazing experience with telescopes provided by LMMA.
With multiple marinas and lodging options throughout Lake Mead National Recreation Area, LMMA provides customizable experiences for families, couples and groups alike. Guests can enjoy houseboats, motels and flotels as well as a variety of watercraft rentals, combining daytime fun with unforgettable nights under the stars.
“Kids are back in school, summer tourists are gone, the weather begins to cool down but the water is still warm through the end of October,” said Chad Taylor, director of marketing and guest experience, Lake Mead Mohave Adventures. “It’s the best kept recreational secret in Southern Nevada. This year, we’re giving guests even more reasons to enjoy it with our fall ‘Secret Season’ offers.”
