LAS VEGAS (October 2026) – In the Wedding Capital of the World™, a dream wedding can be romantic, glamorous, unconventional or even a little frightening. This Halloween, Las Vegas wedding chapels are showcasing the destination’s ability to bring virtually any wedding vision to life with zombie ministers, horror icons, gothic florals, eerie décor and fully customized ceremonies inspired by couples’ favorite spooky characters and themes.
The over-the-top possibilities are part of what has made a Las Vegas wedding unlike one anywhere else in the world. Beyond the destination’s iconic chapels and famously convenient marriage process, Southern Nevada offers couples the creative freedom to make their ceremony distinctly their own.
At Lucky Little Wedding Chapel, the Love Potion No. 9 package offers a Halloween-inspired floral arch, chapel décor, black veil rental, themed props, large silk bouquet and boutonniere rental and a holiday-inspired unity sand or candle ceremony. The $999 package accommodates up to 26 guests that includes the licensed wedding officiant, two custom songs, professional photography and videography including all digital images and other amenities. Couples can further personalize the experience with available add-ons, including hair and makeup, wedding attire and specialty officiants.
For couples with an even more specific vision, Lucky Little Wedding Chapel curates fully customized ceremonies that bring favorite films and characters to life. One “Beetlejuice”-inspired wedding, for example, incorporates a themed aisle runner, color-coordinated florals and arch, bug decor, a sandworm-inspired element and other tailored details. The custom experience demonstrates how Las Vegas wedding professionals can transform even the most unconventional inspiration into a cohesive celebration.
The historic Little Church of the West is also putting a spooky spin on tradition with its Till Death Do Us Part package. Couples can choose to be married by a traditional minister, Elvis, Johnny Cash or a zombie minister, setting the scene with black baccara roses or deep purple calla lilies and special venue décor. Throw in a Halloween-inspired musical wedding entrance and exit to further transfix guests. The $1,099 package also includes a heart-shaped wedding cake, professional photography of the couple, all images, a ceremony video download, a custom-designed certificate holder and other inclusions. After dark, Halloween-inspired details throughout the chapel and garden add to the spooktacular atmosphere.
At The Little Vegas Chapel, couples can take their love of horror all the way to the altar with Our Killer Wedding, a themed ceremony performed by Michael Myers for $719. Taking place inside the Imperial Chapel, the experience includes an eight- to 12-minute ceremony, posed photos with Michael Myers, themed music or two songs selected by the couple, a dark rose bouquet and matching boutonniere, professional photography and a private online gallery. Up to 24 guests can attend.
“If couples can dream it, Las Vegas finds a way to make it happen,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “Halloween is an increasingly popular wedding season. We can boast that ‘Dracula’ (Bela Lugosi), the ‘Frankenstein’ monster (oris Karloff/William Henry Pratt), ‘The Fly’ (Jeff Goldblum), ‘Beetlejuice’s’ Barbara Maitland (Geena Davis) and ‘Tarzan’ (Johnny Weissmuller) were all married here. This other-worldly spirit has always been part of the Wedding Capital and Halloween is another fun opportunity to show just how creative, personalized and over the top a ceremony can be.”

ABOUT THE WEDDING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD™
For over a century, a “Vegas wedding” has captured public imagination as the ultimate stress-free, fun, glamorous and romantic wedding, whether it is a spur-of-the-moment occasion or an elaborately planned extravaganza for 600 guests. Offering weddings for every budget—including elopements at iconic Las Vegas chapels, elaborate nuptial celebrations at the Strip’s most elegant resorts and everything in between—the destination delivers dream weddings of every description for every budget. The Clark County Marriage License Bureau, overseen by the Honorable Lynn Marie Goya, issued more than 70,000 marriage licenses in 2025, adding to its reputation as a world-recognized premier wedding destination. Marriages are tracked in the United States by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that compiles an annual Marriage Rate by State, calculating the number of marriages per thousand population. With more than 5 million weddings and counting, Nevada’s marriage rate is 24.6 as opposed to the national marriage rate of 6.1 per thousand; Hawaii’s rate is 12.5 per thousand and Florida’s 7.0 per thousand. Internationally, marriage rates for countries typically range from 5 to 10 per thousand population. But it isn’t just the numbers. Once known as the “Niagara Falls of the West” with the famous Las Vegas Strip called “Honeymoon Highway,” on Sept. 23, 1953, the London Daily Herald first called Las Vegas the “Wedding Capital of the World.” For more information about the Wedding Capital of the World™ or the Office of the Clark County Clerk, Nevada, visit weddings.Vegas.
