LAS VEGAS (March 2026) – Hope Means Nevada (HMN), the community-based non-profit focused on supporting youth mental health, eliminating youth suicide in the state and empowering Nevada’s youth to live hopeful lives, invites community members to participate in a guided Spring Wellness Walk on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 9 a.m. The event will take place at Terrazza Park, 1992 E Galleria Dr, Henderson, Nev., and is designed to promote mental wellness through mindful outdoor activity.
The event also coincides with Hope Means Nevada’s sixth anniversary, marking six years of dedicated work supporting the mental health and well-being of young people across the state.
The one-hour, one-mile walk will incorporate meditative exercises, meaningful conversation starters, and simple journal reflections, offering participants an opportunity to connect with nature while supporting their mental health. The event is accessibility-friendly, and space is limited to 20 participants to ensure a personal and engaging experience.
“Spring is the perfect time to step outside and reconnect with both nature and each other,” said Janna Velasco, executive director, Hope Means Nevada. “This walk is more than physical activity—it’s about fostering mental wellness, encouraging reflection, and building community through shared experiences.”
Registration is required to secure a spot. Interested participants can RSVP or ask questions via @hopemeansnevada on social media or by emailing hello@hopemeansnevada.org.
This event is part of ongoing efforts by Get Outdoors Nevada and HMN to promote community mental wellness and outdoor engagement throughout the state, as the organization celebrates six years of impact in Nevada.
