FERRARO’S TO SHOWCASE ACCLAIMED PAOLO SCAVINO WINERY
AT ONE-NIGHT-ONLY DINNER, JAN. 30

LAS VEGAS (January 2020) – Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to travel to the Barolo region of Italy without leaving Las Vegas. On Thursday, Jan. 30 at 6:30 p.m., guests will “tour” the Paolo Scavino Winery with Wine Enthusiast Elisa Scavino recognized as Winemaker of the Year at an exclusive, four-course dinner showcasing top-rated wines from this unique destination. Each wine will be paired with a specially prepared dish by Executive Chef Francesco DiCaudo. The menu and wine pairing are offered for $175 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

This historical family-run winery is located in the Barolo region of Italy. Founded in 1921 by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo, the Paolo Scavino Winery is now operated by Enrico Scavino and his daughters Elisa and Enrica, who represent the fourth generation of the family’s winemakers. Devoted to viticulture and with a passion for the land, the Scavinos focus on preserving and enhancing the distinctiveness of the terroir in their wines made with local grapes: Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Elisa Scavino will be presenting the Barolo winery’s most esteemed vintages including and ’89 and ’99 and Ferraro’s will also be auctioning off a 5-liter magnum of Barolo Riserva Rocche dell’Annuziata – an incredible $4,000 value.
