FERRARO’S ANNOUNCES TASTE & LEARN EVENT APRIL 23
FEATURING WINES FROM GHIBELLO, UGGIANO

LAS VEGAS (March 2022) Ferraro’s Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar invites guests to experience the next Taste & Learn on Saturday, April 23, at 5 p.m. Taste & Learn is Ferraro’s popular, monthly wine-tasting and education event that provides illuminating wine education along with a menu of expertly prepared, authentic Italian small plates crafted by Chef Mimmo Ferraro.

The April Taste & Learn event spotlights wines from the Ghibello and Uggiano wineries in Italy. Guests will begin the tasting with Ghibello Vermentino, a floral white blend with notes of jasmine and peach blossom pairing perfectly with seafood. Next on the menu is Ghibello Chianti, a smooth red wine made from Sangiovese grapes containing notes of fresh cherry and red plum. Uggiano Brunello – a full-bodied red offers a rich and well-rounded harmonious taste. Taking its name from the land where the vineyard is situated Uggiano Campo Del Re is the ideal red blend pairing for beef.

“We are always excited to teach our guests about Italian wines and look forward to our monthly Taste & Learn events,” said Gino Ferraro, owner, Ferraro’s. “This month’s experience will allow guests to enjoy wines from two of Tuscany’s most highly regarded wineries.”

Camberi alla Griglia con Salsa Verde
Grilled shrimp, Salsa Verde, crostini

Ghibello Chianti
Panino al Formaggio Grigliato con Nduja
Grilled cheese, Nduja sausage, Scamorza cheese, mozzarella

Uggiano Brunello
Bucatini Amatriciana
Thick, short and hollow pasta, Guanciale, pancetta, Calabrese peppers, tomato, Pecorino cheese

Uggiano Campo del Re
Controfiletto al Balsamico
Prime sirloin, balsamic sauce, mushroom ragù, Gorgonzola Dolce
