JACKSON HOLE, WYOMING (May 2021) – Scenic Safaris, the year-round outdoor and wildlife tour operator specializing in the wildlife and scenery of Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks and their environs, will open for the 2021 season from June 1 through Oct. 31. Summer vacationers looking for an exhilarating adventure into the wilderness surrounding Jackson Hole, Wyoming, can now book private van tours, ATV tours and side-by-side tours or reserve the vehicles for self-guided excursions. Scenic Safaris, operated by National Park Service concessionaire Forever Resorts, offers half-day and full-day tours showcasing not only the iconic landscapes, but also the many species of fauna that call the parks home.

Operating on Polaris side-by-side vehicles, Scenic Safaris offers two, four and eight-hour tours or multi-day rentals for self-guided tours. These tours allow visitors to navigate rough terrain with much greater agility and comfort than regular road vehicles. Guests opting for half- or full-day guided tours will be led by a local tour expert equipped with extensive knowledge of the area’s history and wildlife.  With capacity restrictions still recommended when social distancing cannot be maintained indoors, all Scenic Safaris’ luxury van tours will be reserved for private group bookings for the 2021 season.

Tours include, lunch (for full-day tours) and refreshments, as well as a helmet and rain poncho if needed. Guests are encouraged to bring their own camera, sunglasses, sunscreen, appropriate footwear and an extra layer of clothing.

Self-Guided Scenic Safaris’ ATV and Side-by-Side Rentals:
Beginning June 1
Two and four-seater rentals available.
Audience: Families, first-time backcountry visitors.
Highlights: Shadow Mountain, Gros Ventre, Moulton Barns
WOW! moment: Spotting bison, moose and antelope.

Full-Day Backcountry Safari
Beginning July 1
Audience: Anyone seeking a unique adventure in the backcountry.
Departure Time: 9 a.m.
Highlights: Remote spots such as Gunsight Pass and Crystal Creek, river crossings.
WOW! Moment: That feeling visitors have knowing they’re seeing sights fewer than 1 percent of other summertime travelers can see due to terrain that’s too rough for road vehicles.
Menu: Lunch and water is included.
Duration: 8 – 9 hours departing in the morning, returning around 5 p.m.
Price: $700 for first machine (guide and up to four passengers)
$389 for each additional machine (up to four people)

Half-day Teton Views Tour – Two departure times
Beginning June 1
Audience: Families and photographers will enjoy this guided tour.
Departure Time: 7:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Highlights: Enjoy views from Gros Venture to view the famous landslide and Lower Slide Lake.
WOW! Moment: A stop by the Moulton Barns for excellent photo opportunities.
Menu: Water is included.
Duration: 8 – 9 hours departing in the early morning, returning by midday.
Price: $530 for first machine (guide and up to four passengers)
$310 for each additional machine (up to four people)

Guided ATV Tours:
ATV Backcountry with Creek Crossing – Full Day
Beginning July 1
Audience: Anyone seeking a unique adventure in the backcountry.
Departure Time: 9:30 a.m.
Highlights: Excellent Teton views and photo opportunities.
WOW! Moment: Enjoy the features of the Bridge Teton National Forest with picturesque views of the mountains. Keep your eyes out for bison, antelope, and moose sightings.
Menu: Lunch is included.
Duration: 8 hours departing in the morning, returning at 5:30 p.m.
Price: $1,395 (up to five passengers)
$279 for additional drivers
$190 for each additional passenger 

Teton Vista ATV Ride – Half-Day – Two Departure Times
Beginning June 1
Audience: Adventurous shutterbugs and wildlife lovers.
Departure Time: 6:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Highlights: Travel through the National Elk Refuge.
WOW! Moment: Keep your eyes open for bison, antelope and moose sightings. Plus, excellent Teton views create the perfect photo opportunity.
Menu: No meals provided.
Duration: 5 hours departing in the early morning, returning by midday or departing in the afternoon, returning in the evening.
Price: $518 up to two people
$259 for each additional driver
$180 for additional passengers
Maximum group size is seven ATV’s with up to ten people. 

National Park Luxury Van Tours/All Private Tours Beginning June 1:
Grand Teton Wildlife – Half-day (morning)
Audience: Families, children and photographers will enjoy the morning hours of this tour.
Departure Time: 6 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Highlights: Explore the Antelope Flats and Mormon row areas where wildlife roams.
WOW! Moment: Staring in the early morning hours offers our guests the opportunity to see bison, antelope, eagles and moose habitats in hopes of capturing that perfect shot.
Menu: Breakfast and water are included.
Duration: 4 hours departing in the early morning, returning by midday.
Price: $725 (up to five passengers)
$80 for each additional passenger

Grand Teton Sunset – Half-day (evening)
Audience: This sunset tour is ideal for families and landscape photographers.
Departure Time: 4:30 p.m.
Highlights: Stops at Mormon Row and the Shane Cabins offer a glimpse of early settler life here in Jackson Hole. Heading back to Jackson along the Moose-Wilson road is prime moose habitat.
WOW! Moment: Travel through the National Elk Refuge as you head North into Grand Teton National Park. Here, sightings of bison and antelope along the flats offer photographic opportunities. You may spot an American Bald Eagle here, perched on a tree branch.
Menu: No meals included.
Duration: 4 hours departing in the afternoon, returning in the evening.
Price: $725 (up to five passengers)

Maximum group size is ten people.

Yellowstone (Lower Loop)
Audience: Anyone who wants to see it all in one day.
Departure Time: 6 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.
Highlights: Visit all major points of interest, like Old Faithful and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
WOW! Moment: View wildlife in a natural habitat, geothermic wonders and vast forests all on one tour.
Menu: Breakfast, lunch and water are included.
Duration: 11-12 hours departing in the early morning, returning early evening.
Price: $1,350 (up to five passengers)
