Program to Reward Outstanding Students with Technology, School Supplies, More

Student Nominations Now Open 

LAS VEGAS (November 2022) – Executive Option, LLC, the Southern Nevada-based business consulting firm specializing in enterprise systems and change management, announces its brand-new Remarkable Achievements Recognized Everyday (RARE) Awards program created to recognize and reward deserving students with technology, school supplies and more. 

“After a two-year-long pandemic, I understand families with children in school have been severely affected, whether it be financially or mentally,” said Mike Del Prado, chief executive officer, Executive Option. “I want to encourage these children and their families to keep up the great work by providing rewards to students. They deserve to be recognized for their outstanding achievements in the face of adversity and I’m glad Executive Option can assist in propelling them towards a bright future.”

Now through February 24, Executive Option will open up student nominations at participating schools within the Clark County School District, including:

• Gwendolyn Woolley Elementary School
• Robert Lunt Elementary School
• Carroll M. Johnston Middle School
• Hyde Park Middle School
• Cheyenne High School
• Desert Pines High School

Teachers, teaching aids, coaches, other administrative staff and student peers will be eligible to nominate CCSD students. To nominate a student, the nominator must have a CCSD email address and fill out a questionnaire including the student’s full name, nominator phone number, and school name as well as their reason for nominating the student. This information can be submitted to CCSD via Google Form on the RARE website. Information submitted in the questionnaire will be used to help Executive Option select winners to receive awards for their outstanding academic efforts.

After the nomination period closes, Executive Option will select and announce three deserving students from each school in Spring 2023. 

Based on the needs of students in various age groups, Executive Option will donate the following:

• For elementary school students, the first-place winner will receive an iPad, school supplies and a $25 gift card; second-place will receive a $100 gift card; and third-place will receive a $50 gift card.
• For middle school students, the first-place winner will receive an iPad, school supplies and a $25 gift card; second-place will receive a $100 gift card; and third-place will receive a $50 gift card.
• For high school students, the first-place winner will receive a laptop or $500 scholarship, school supplies and a $25 gift card; second-place will receive a $100 gift card; and third-place will receive a $50 gift card.

All teachers who take time to nominate students will also be entered into a drawing to win a $100 gift card. The RARE team appreciates all the hard work teachers do to ensure students are on the path to success.
