CHEF DEE RUSSELL HOSTS “THE HAPPY CHEF COOKING SERIES” AT ACRES DISPENSARY

Chef Dee Russell, The “Happy Chef,” Hosts “The Happy Chef Cooking Series” from The Underground at Acres Dispensary Beginning March 11

LAS VEGAS (March 10, 2020) – Acres Dispensary, in conjunction with Curaleaf, announces it will present “The Happy Chef Cooking Series,” hosted by Chef Dee Russell, on Wednesday, March 11. This first-of-its-kind cannabis cooking show will take place in Acres’ Underground Cannabis Market, accommodate a studio audience of up to 50 people.  Tickets may be purchased here.

In this new show, Russell will prepare mouthwatering cannabis-infused edibles, topicals and dishes inspired by her “How to Happy Chef” class series. Joining her for these classes will be celebrity friends, industry leaders, advocates and patients.

The public may attend “The Happy Chef Cooking Series” for $45, which includes a copy of Russell’s “The Happy Chef” cannabis cookbook, as well as a chance to win a patient swag pack. Guests will also receive a chance to appear on the show to win prizes and discounts on featured ingredients.

Russell, popularly known as Edible Dee and The Happy Chef, has been featured in Snoop Dogg’s MERRY JANE series “Smoke in the Kitchen” and on three episodes of the premiere season of Netflix’s “Cooking On High.” She published her first cannabis cookbook, “The Happy Chef,” with B-Real of Cypress Hill in 2014. Feature stories about Russell have appeared in Forbes, Bloomberg, Yahoo! Finance, High Times magazine, Entrepreneur magazine and CNN. In 2015, she opened the first licensed MMJ production kitchen in Las Vegas and, in 2016, partnered with a medical cannabis research company to design their Las Vegas headquarters and formulate their medical product lines. Known for making edibles since 2006, Russell currently works as a cannabis consultant designing production kitchens, licensing recipes and developing brands, formulations and compliance programs.
