Now Families Can Create Amazing Art at Home with Dynamic, Step-by-Step How-to Videos from Art Teaching Pro Kim Bavington

LAS VEGAS (February 2019) – Art Classes for Kids Owner Kim Bavington has been a fixture of extra-curricular art instruction in Southern Nevada for kids ages 5 to 12 for nearly 30 years. Now, with the launch of her new YouTube channel, everyone can experience Bavington’s high-energy, easy-to-follow drawing, painting and sculpting instruction, which she presents on video with the help of a revolving array of school-age assistants.

An accomplished artist and designer herself, Bavington is renowned locally for her excellent art instruction, which she offers at private, in-home lessons; at group classes and art camps held in Summerlin and in her downtown Midcentury Modern home; as well as at birthday parties, holiday celebrations and other festive occasions. Parents are unanimous in their enthusiasm for the quality of Bavington’s classes; students of all ages leave each class with a tastefully mounted, sophisticated, frame-quality work of art or sculpture.

“Kim’s art camps were so much fun for my daughters—and a joy for me, too, to see how proud they were of the beautiful works of art they created,” said Jennifer Brinton, mother of three. “We moved out of state two years ago, so the girls were thrilled about Kim’s new YouTube channel. Now, they can take advantage of Kim’s outstanding art instruction at home.”

Many of Bavington’s art projects draw inspiration from master artists. The current lineup of videos on her YouTube channel includes:

• Flowers inspired by Takashi Murakami
• Soup cans inspired by Andy Warhol

In addition to presenting art instruction, Bavington makes videos that feature interviews with notable artists, as well as former students who have gone onto careers in the visual arts. She also posts videos featuring various art-related games and challenges popular with her students.

“I make sure to post one new video each week,” says Bavington. “Over the years, I’ve created thousands of different art projects with my students—and now, I’m thrilled to be able to share these cool art projects with young artists around the world!”
