SEATTLE, WASHINGTON (July 2019) – Lip Smacking Foodie Tours, proudly presents its newest VIP group dining experience which promises unprecedented access to some of the most celebrated establishments in Seattle’s buzzy neighborhood of Capitol Hill. This experience is available for private and corporate groups of 15 to 75 participants.
As with all its tours, this experience escorts groups to up to four restaurants, with each presenting an array of distinctive dishes while patrons relax, mingle and network. As the largest independent cider bar in the country, this premiere public house in a 100-year-old building puts the spotlight on everything apple, from hundreds of ciders to potent spirits to house-made apple butter and other dishes made with the fragrant fruit. At this stop, guests will gather around for a tasting and talk about why this fizzy, fermented drink enjoyed as far back as Roman times is experiencing a new resurgence. Guests will also enjoy their signature dishes alongside the distinctive ciders.
That’s followed by a visit to Omega Ouzeri, where Proprietor Thomas Soukakos redefines traditional Greek cuisine through an array of delightful meze or small plates that make dining more fun and convivial.
Finally, it’s off to La Spiga, a modern-day temple to the authentic Northern Italian cuisine of the Emilia-Romagna region, where Executive Chef Sabrina Tinsley lived for many years and where her husband, General Manager and Co-Owner Pietro Borghesi, was raised. The soaring space of timber beams and bold wrought iron is the perfect backdrop for guests who will enjoy an exceptional dinner that no doubt will include the restaurant’s famed hand-made pastas crafted with organic eggs and heritage grains.
