LAS VEGAS (May 2021) – Following the success of the first-ever summer ART CAMP IN A BOX in 2020, Kim Bavington, veteran art teacher and founder of Art Classes for Kids, introduces the 2021 ART CAMP IN A BOX.  With two different camp options available this year, participants can select the program best suited for their schedule including the LIVE CAMP with sessions available in June, July and August or the VIRTUAL CAMP offering pre-recorded video tutorials available to watch anytime this summer.

“We enrolled more than 700 kids from across the globe in 2020,” says Bavington. “It was an amazing turnout that put smiles on so many kids’ faces during such an unprecedented time — we are thrilled to bring the ART CAMP IN A BOX back this year.”

This year’s LIVE ART CAMP IN A BOX comprises 10 projects designed for all ages and live art instruction via Zoom. Three different camp sessions are available, including June 14 to 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST, July 12 to 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST and August 2 to 6 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. PST. Each box contains all the materials needed for the array of art projects, including oil pastels, a blending stick, clay, acrylic paint, assorted paint brushes, canvas, cardboard and much more.

Debuting for the first time this year, the VIRTUAL ART CAMP IN A BOX will feature beginner and advanced options. Each box includes five projects as well as exclusive pre-recorded video tutorials. Participants can choose to purchase either the full box containing all art supplies directly from Art Classes for Kids, including chalk pastels, clay, acrylic paint, assorted paint brushes, canvas, glue stick, different varieties of paper and more, or they can purchase the ACCESS ONLY option, which includes the exclusive video tutorials. ACCESS ONLY virtual campers will use supplies they have at home.

“What makes our camps extraordinary is our focus on teaching technique and art history while creating a really fun virtual experience,” explains Bavington. “Plus, you can participate from anywhere, including your backyard or game room with friends and family, which makes the experience fun and unique.”

Prices range from $75 to $275 and shipping is available nationwide. To purchase an ART CAMP IN A BOX, go to artclassesforkids.com.
