NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 2026) – Play Playground Nashville, the most playful social game experience and bar located just off downtown’s Broadway, is going all out this Halloween season with a spooky rooftop takeover, limited-time seasonal sips and a three-night Halloweekend celebration. Throughout October, guests can experience festive décor and Halloween-inspired drinks alongside Play Playground’s larger-than-life games and friendly competition, culminating with the “Nightmare on 2nd Ave” collaboration with Nashville Live!
Setting the scene for October outings, date nights and ghastly group get-togethers, Play Playground’s rooftop transformation features frightening skeleton-themed décor that eerily illuminates in the evening hours. Five haunting Halloween-themed drinks join the beverage lineup, including:
- Scooby Snack – Bacardi Coconut, melon liqueur, pineapple juice, cream
- Headless Horseman – Belle Meade Blackberry Wine, Tanqueray Gin, orange syrup, simple syrup
- Pumpkin Espresso Martini – Espresso martini mix, Tito’s Vodka, Baileys Irish Cream, simple syrup, pumpkin spice seasoning
- Vampire Bite – Vodka, Sprite, grenadine
- Zero-Proof Vampire Kiss – Sprite, grenadine, spooky candy topping
- Zero-Proof Scary Shirley – Sprite, grenadine, Halloween candy garnish
Halloween weekend turns up the festivities with “Nightmare on 2nd Ave,” a building-wide collaboration bringing four floors of Halloween festivities to Nashville Live! at 2nd Avenue and Broadway. The celebration takes center stage Saturday, Oct. 31, with live band karaoke, interactive games, sports viewing, rooftop festivities, specialty cocktails and more. Guests can catch the weekend’s biggest matchups on DraftKings Sports & Social’s massive 48-foot media wall, head to the PBR Cowboy Bar for a distinctive Halloween edition of live band karaoke from 9 p.m. to midnight, challenge their crew to massive physical games at Play Playground and make their way up to the rooftop for cocktails and views of downtown Nashville.
The festivities extend throughout Halloween weekend from Thursday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Oct. 31 with building-wide Halloween sweepstakes, offering guests 21 or older who visit in costume the chance to win a cash prize.
Play Playground is open to ages 13+ before 7 p.m. and 21+ after 7 p.m. The destination is open Friday and Saturday from 12 p.m. to midnight, Sunday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Thursday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. For more information or to purchase regular tickets, visit playplayground.com.
