LAS VEGAS (February 2026) – With Valentine’s Day falling on a Saturday in 2026, Las Vegas—the Wedding Capital of the World™—expects February to be a strong month for nuptials. To accommodate couples traveling to the destination to wed, Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya, in partnership with the Clark County Department of Aviation, will open the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport from Wednesday, Feb. 4, through Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 16. Renowned for its global reputation for fun, romantic and hassle-free weddings, Las Vegas is preparing for an influx of couples from around the world.

February has been considered “Wedding Month” in the Wedding Capital of the World since February 2022, when Clark County issued its 5-millionth marriage license. Two days later, it celebrated Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (also known as ”twosday”  2/22/22) when 2,341 couples were married.

Of course, Feb. 14 consistently ranks as one of the most popular wedding dates of the year, and Valentine’s Days comprise 12 of the 20 most popular ceremony dates of all time in Las Vegas. Notable wedding dates in February 2026 include not only Valentine’s Day (2/14/26) but also “magic dates” incorporating unique numerical sequences ( 2/6/26, 2/26/26), plus Friday the Thirteenth (2/13/26)—all making February an especially sweet month for couples seeking a memorable date for their ceremony.

The Wedding Capital of the World’s pop-up Marriage License Bureau is located at Terminal 1 baggage claim across from carousel 15, and it will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day from Feb. 4 – 16.  In addition to issuing marriage licenses, the pop-up will also provide vow renewal certificates; couples should note the pop-up only accepts credit card or debit card payments.

For couples unable to visit the airport pop-up, the Clark County Marriage License Bureau, located at the Regional Justice Center in Downtown Las Vegas, remains open 365 days a year and will maintain its regular hours throughout February (8 a.m. to midnight).

“Sweethearts love the convenience of the pop-up Marriage License Bureau at Harry Reid International Airport,” said Goya. “Love is always in the air during the month of February, and our deputy clerks look forward to serving this special clientele. For eight years, the airport has been an outstanding partner, enabling us to serve thousands of happy couples.”

“As the gateway to Las Vegas, Harry Reid International Airport prides itself on offering unique experiences that are reflective of the destination,” said James C. Chrisley, Clark County director of aviation, Harry Reid International Airport. “The pop-up Marriage License Bureau is a fun and convenient way for those visiting the Wedding Capital of the World to tie the knot.”
