Vegas Wedding Dress Of The Year Contest Enters Final Weeks
Submissions Accepted Now Through Thursday, Jan. 15
LAS VEGAS (January 2026) – With only a few weeks left to enter, the Wedding Capital of the World™, Clark County Clerk Lynn Goya and the Vegas Wedding Chamber remind brides, families and friends to submit entries for the 2025 Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year contest before the deadline on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026. The winning dress will be seen by travelers from around the world at the Wedding Capital of the World’s display beginning February 2026 inside Harry Reid International Airport, where it will illustrate Las Vegas’ reigning status as the world’s most desirable destination wedding location.
“As the year comes to a close, we’re encouraging everyone with a 2025 Vegas wedding to take a moment during the holiday season and share their story,” said Goya. “We know so many wonderful, creative and meaningful wedding moments took place this year, and this contest is an opportunity to honor them on a global stage.”
To qualify for the contest, entries must be brides in dresses worn during a wedding in Clark County, Nevada, during the 2025 calendar year. Anyone is able to nominate a dress for 2025 Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year. The dress must be available for display during the 2026 calendar year.
How to submit:
- Post a photo of the bride in her dress on Instagram. Participants must ensure their Instagram account is set to public in order for their entry to be visible.
- Submission must be posted by 11:59 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time on Thursday, Jan. 15, 2026.
- Tag and follow @vegasweddingcapital and @lvweddingchamber.
- The post caption should include the following information:
- Date of the wedding.
- Location of where the photo was taken.
- Up to 280 words describing the wedding story.
- The hashtag #2025VegasWeddingDress and #2025VegasBride.
- The winner must be willing to:
- Send the dress, or replica, for display as the 2025 Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year at the ongoing display site alongside the associated wedding story and photo.
The selection committee, comprising members of the Wedding Capital of the World and the Vegas Wedding Chamber, will choose the winning dress. The winner will be contacted by Thursday, Jan. 22, 2026. The selected dress must be delivered to the Office of the County Clerk, Government Center located at 500 S Grand Central Pkwy., Las Vegas, NV 89106 by Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.
