LAS VEGAS (February 2026) – The Wedding Capital of the World™, Clark County Clerk Lynn Goya and the Vegas Wedding Chamber are delighted to announce Stephanie Bashall of Burbank, Calif., as the winner of the 2025 Vegas Wedding Dress of the Year contest. The dress and the couple’s Las Vegas wedding story will be on display at Harry Reid International Airport beginning in March.

Bashall married Britt Chandler Johnson on Oct. 26, 2025, at The Mob Museum, the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement in Downtown Las Vegas.  Her 1920s-inspired dress was designed by Reem Acra and given its second life when the bride discovered it at Glamour Closet, a second-hand store in Beverly Hills. The dress will be displayed at the airport alongside her rhinestone-encrusted, blue-soled Betsey Johnson heels, which provided an unmistakable touch of Las Vegas sparkle to Bashall’s wedding-day ensemble.

Fifteen years of triumphs, challenges and moments I would not trade for anything in the world,” said Bashall in the submission that accompanied her entry. “Thank you for being my person, my rock and now my husband. We met on a bus working on Boardwalk Empire and now wed at The Mob Museum. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect day celebrating with friends and family. Here’s to you Britt Chandler and our future as husband and wife! Here’s to October 26th, a day we will remember forever!”

To qualify for the Instagram contest, entrants posted a picture and an up-to-280-word story of the bride in her wedding dress as worn during her wedding in Clark County, Nevada, during the 2025 calendar year. Entrants tagged and followed @vegasweddingcapital and @lvweddingchamber and used the hashtags #2025VegasWeddingDress and #2025VegasBride.

“The wedding dress is arguably the most indelible image associated with marriage, and Stephanie’s dress captures all the elegance, style and romance Las Vegas brides embody,” said Lynn Marie Goya, Clark County Clerk. We send congratulations and best wishes to Stephanie and Britt for their nuptials and invite the public to come see the dress on display at Harry Reid International Airport. It provides an indelible reminder that Las Vegas is the world’s most iconic destination for saying, ‘I do.’”

Added Ashley Miller, vice president of marketing, communications and sales, The Mob Museum, “Las Vegas has always been a place where love, creativity and celebration intersect. Stephanie’s story, from finding her reimagined vintage gown to hosting her wedding at The Mob Museum, beautifully reflects the spirit of reinvention that defines this city. Her wedding captures the essence of what makes Las Vegas extraordinary: a place where history, style and heartfelt connection come together to create moments that can last a lifetime.”
