SAHARA LAS VEGAS HONORS LEGACY OF BAZAAR MEAT BY JOSÉ ANDRÉS AHEAD OF JULY 31 CLOSURE

Celebrated Partnership Gave Rise to One of the Strip’s Most Iconic Restaurants

LAS VEGAS (July 7, 2025) – As Bazaar Meat by José Andrés prepares to serve its final guests at SAHARA Las Vegas on Thursday, July 31, the legendary casino-resort proudly celebrates the extraordinary legacy of the distinguished restaurant and longstanding partnership that brought Chef José Andrés’ bold vision to life. Now through the end of the month, diners may experience one last opportunity to savor Bazaar Meat’s most iconic creations through its two signature tasting menus and a la carte dining menu.

Guests who visit Bazaar Meat through July 31 can look forward to enjoying one of its two popular tasting menu options – José’s Way ($215 per person) or The Ultimate Tasting ($295 per person)—or ordering a la carte. Meanwhile, wines from the restaurant’s acclaimed cellar will also be available at special pricing through the closing date.

“Our partnership with Chef José Andrés and José Andrés Group has been nothing short of extraordinary,” said Paul Hobson, general manager, SAHARA Las Vegas. “Together, we created a restaurant experience that redefined Las Vegas dining and earned global acclaim. We honor the entire Bazaar Meat team for providing years of unforgettable culinary moments. As we turn the page, we’re energized by what lies ahead with Chef Kwame Onwuachi and the debut of Maroon later this year.”

Since opening in 2014, Bazaar Meat has been widely regarded as one of the most distinctive dining destinations in Las Vegas and beyond, helping to redefine the traditional steakhouse through fearless culinary innovation, extraordinary service and unforgettable presentation.

With guests traveling from around the world to experience its tasting menus, Bazaar Meat became a global culinary destination and one of Chef Andrés’ most recognized achievements. From Japanese A5 Wagyu beef to the whimsical cotton candy foie gras, Bazaar Meat became a rite of passage for adventurous diners and a must-visit for culinary insiders.

Honors received include “Best Restaurants in Las Vegas on the Strip and Beyond: Bazaar Meat by José Andrés” in Timeout; “Essential Las Vegas Restaurants” in EATER; “Best Strip Restaurant – Gold Award,” Best of Las Vegas; “17 Celebrity Restaurants in Vegas That Are Worth the Hype,” Thrillist; Best of Award of Excellence,” Wine Spectator; “Best 10 Steakhouses in the U.S.A.,” Gayot and “Best of Las Vegas: Best Tasting Menu,” Desert Companion.

Following the closure, SAHARA Las Vegas will welcome the next evolution in Strip dining with the debut of Maroon by Kwame Onwuachi – a Caribbean steakhouse. Slated to open later this year, Maroon marks the James Beard Award-winning chef’s West Coast debut and serves as the anchor of the resort’s new food-and-beverage campaign, dubbed “A Culinary Journey.” Onwuachi, whose restaurant Tatiana was named The New York Times’ “No. 1 restaurant in New York City” in both 2023 and 2024, also served as the culinary lead of the 2025 Met Gala and was included among Time magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2025—honors cementing his status as one of the most extraordinary chefs of his generation.
