Organization Connects Veterans with Local Resources as They Transition to Civilian Life

WHAT:
On Saturday, March 25, the Charlie-Mike Foundation (CMF), the non-profit organization established to connect veterans with skilled local resources as they transition to civilian life, hosted its Adopt-A-Highway cleanup volunteer event in partnership with the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT). Local veterans and volunteers from CMF as well as representatives from other local businesses and organizations, including Executive Option, the Nevada Army National Guard and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas’ ROTC program, cleaned up U.S. 95 northbound at mileposts 46 and 48, just south of Boulder City, Nevada.

The cleanup event was held to raise awareness of the organization’s mission of supporting veterans as well as its overall commitment to the Southern Nevada community.
