LAS VEGAS (May 2025) – The Vegas Wedding Chamber announces the return of “Vegas Marries the Military,” an annual community initiative offering free weddings and vow renewals in The Wedding Capital of the World to deserving U.S. military personnel and veterans. Beginning on Sunday, June 1, couples may submit their love stories, photos and service backgrounds for the chance to win a wedding of a lifetime they otherwise couldn’t afford.
This year’s notable celebration will take place on Thursday, Nov. 6 and will feature individual ceremonies across Clark County followed by a celebratory group reception at the Vegas Event Center. The Vegas Wedding Chamber will choose seven couples—each representing different branches of the armed forces—to receive fully donated ceremonies, receptions and amenities. Selected couples may also invite their closest family and friends.
This year’s reception will include a buffet dinner, wedding cake, live DJ, professional photography, custom décor and surprise guest appearances by community leaders and dignitaries.
In addition to couples, the Vegas Wedding Chamber seeks wedding industry professionals, including officiants, florists, makeup artists, hairstylists, transportation providers, photographers and hotel partners providing rooms, interested in donating their goods and services to support the event.
“To be able to come out [to Las Vegas] and be gifted this entire vacation and this wedding for me and my family has me feeling beyond grateful,” said Marcus, who married his wife Cassandra in 2024.
“It’s not very often you see a city, especially like Las Vegas, do this specifically for the military and honor them,” said Tina, who married her husband Mark in 2024. “It’s amazing, it’s awesome.”
“Las Vegas is proud to honor our military heroes by giving them the weddings they deserve,” said Clark County Clerk Lynn Marie Goya. “This is our community’s way of saying thank you—not just with words, but with unforgettable memories.”
Interested military couples are invited to enter the contest from Sunday, June 1 through Friday, July 4 here. Vendors may also apply to donate their goods and services now through Friday, Aug. 1 here.
